Overall Impression: excellent

Recommend: absolutely

Reviewer Comments: We had a party of four hunting for pronghorn and mule deer. We harvested four pronghorn and three mule deer. Were it not for a little sloppy shooting we would have killed the fourth mule deer as well. Steve and his guides were very pleasant and worked exceedingly hard gertting us on trophy animals. Our group included two hunters on their first western hunts and a 78 year old on what may be his last. The hunting areas are very diverse with hunting methods ranging from glassing open areas to the most rugged vertical hiking the younger guys in our group could handle. We saw antelope by the 100's and mule and whitetail deer by the dozens each day. Two of the guys in our group saw more elk than deer over our five day hunt. Amazingly, with all the hiking I still managed to gain weight on the trip.

Species Hunted: Antelope

Game Quality: Very Good

Accommodation Quality: Very Good

Camp Condition: Very Good

Food Quality: Very Good

Guide Experience: Good

Other Personal Experience: Very Good

Overall Impression: A very good trip

Recommend: Yes!

Reviewer Comments: The number of antelope was far beyond our expectations. Our only negative (.0001% of concern) was the fact our guide made a mistake on the size of one of the antelope taken. We had predetermined sizes acceptable and the animal taken fell short. However, a VERY small concern. Top notch people, good food, friendly atmosphere, warm hospitality. All equals a quality antelope hunt (section 43).

Reviewer Comments: Am late posting this. But I have done two Spring bear hunts with Steve in 2004 & 2005. Every thing is top notch. Both hunts it took five afternoons on bate to score. The meals and accommodations are the best I've seen. Would highly recommend booking other hunts with them. For taxidermy work is also available by Ramona Sheaffer.
