Deer hunt
I hunted with Scott at Sugar Valley Outfitters twice. Once in 2007 and again in 2008. I was very impressed and shot a 140 BC buck each time. Both had very heavy dark racks and weighted over 200 lbs. I have very bad knees and Scott knew his area real well and got me in spots that I could get in and out. He has alot of trail cameras and binds set up. It sure is exciting to see a picture of a huge buck that you can go hunt the next day and may get. Scott runs a small camp. Both times I was there it was me and two other hunters. Each time I was there everyone either shot a big buck or had a chance and didn't connect.. The lodging is a small log cabin 100 ft away from a trout stream. This is a real DEER CAMP!!!!!Jody his wife is a great cook and baker. We never went hungry and she makes the best muffins. Last but not least Scott takes great care of all the throphy prep of the animals and boxes them up to ship home. This is a real good hunt and its hard to find one more personal.

Great hunt
I hunted with Scott McKenzie the owner in 07 and 08 for big whiteail deer. I have very bad arthritic knees. Scott found spots for me that I could get in and out of. Both hunts I shot a nice 140 BC buck. These deer are very big bodies and dark very heavy racks. Scott have many camera set up that he and guides check every day. Then at night after looking an evaluating all the photos plans will be made for the next days hunt. There is some real nice mule deer there also. If going for whitetail I would recommend the mid to late November. It wll make sure you hitthe rut. Every hunter in camp had a chance or shot a real nice buck. You stay in your own cabin with wood stove with a nice trout stream flowing 50 ft. away. This is a real DEER CAMP. Jody the cook makes the best lunchs and food not to mention a real great baker and makes the BEST muffins I ever ate. Everything right down to the throphy care packaging for home was excellent. I give his 5 stars

Don't Waste Your Money Or Time People!
My Guide was Scott McKenzie himself. He was arrogant, rude and My was pretty depressing, as we never seen anything driving around wasting time. I would never go with sugar valley outfitters again. Unless I wanted to waste money listening to a so called professional hunter who tried running some local hunters off the road. A guy like this shouldn't even have or own a gun, with the temper he has!!
Outfitter Response: I believe these hunt reports are helpful! But only if correct information is documented! This particular report is 100% false! In British Columbia actually in North America there is no open season for Moose, deer, goat etc...in June! I also Don't book any Black Bear hunts on the False hunt dates you have Documented in this hunt report! In saying that I would like to see this report removed from the site!

Arizona Hunting Information
Arizona has lots of trophy big game but is probably best known for its trophy elk and mule deer. This partially due to the limited number of tags available.
Yukon Territory Hunting Information
The Yukon Territory is a legendary hunting destination. Hunters from all over the world travel to the Yukon for wilderness adventure hunting at its finest. This rugged, remote and beautiful province is nearly untouched by man. It is similar in size to the state of California but with a population of only about 30,000 residents. The Yukon is a vast, pristine wilderness that holds a tremendous variety of trophy game species. You should be in excellent physical condition to maximize your success and to enjoy the Yukon experience.
Illinois Hunting Information
Illinois is widely known as a top trophy whitetail destination. Illinois also has some great waterfowl hunting, especially in southern portions of the state.
