Wyoming Antleope Hunt with Table Mountain Outfitte
Quantity of animals exceptional. Meals average to just below average. Guides excellent. Shooting opportunities excellent. Camp very good. Outfitter provided poor to no information prior to arrival. We almost didn't go becasue we had no directions to the ranch. Nothing special about the outfitter (as opposed to guides) compared to Colorado hunts I've been on.

Reviewer Comments: Booked this hunt with Scott in 2007 and it took three years to draw my tag. When I got to Cheyenne I called Scott and told him that I was in town a day early and he called me back latter and moved me up a day on my hunt. I met him at his house and he hooked me up with my guide Adam and we headed out. In the first three hours we say over 80 Elk with 15 of them being bulls. When it came down to the shot Adam was great on the yardage and the wind drift. The shot was 320 yards with a 30 mph cross wind and he called if right, one shot and he was down. We got him loaded up and went back to Scott's house and we quartered him out and put him in their freezer until the next day when I headed home. Great people to hunt with.

Reviewer Comments: I hunted with Table Mtn. on their Idaho bear hunt in May of 2005. This was my first experience with an outfitter and I couldn't be happier. I got a good bear on the first day of my spring hunt. I had hoped for a color phase bear but was very happy with the coal black boar I harvested. I have no problem recommending this hunt to anyone, but be prepared to do some hiking on some steep hills. I wasn't concerned when I heard we would hunt in mountains around 5400 feet being from Colorado and usually Elk hunting at 9000 to 10000 feet. Boy, was I tired. Nobody mentioned how steep those mountains are. If you aren't up for the hiking there is very good blinds over bait. On the hunt I was part of there were three hunters and each of us took home a bear. None of them was huge but there were big ones out there, one of which snuck away while the tracking dogs were circling on the second day of the hunt.

Reviewer Comments: I was impressed with the effort these people put forth to ensure everyone in camp was well feed, had good accommodations. They gave good advise on sizing animals, what you could expect to see and attended to the hunters during the hunt and in camp when needed. Friendly hard working honest people. Bob Frkas

Reviewer Comments: I have been on many hunts, and I can honestly say Scott Denny is one of the hardest working, and honest outfitters I have had the pleasure to meet. 3 bowhunters shot 3 nice antelope and 1 very nice mule-deer Would have done better on deer but 1 of the hunters only had 1 day to spend on deer. Great area to hunt, very knowlegable staff.

Reviewer Comments: The Outfitter ran into some problems during the hunt. The Antelope hunt seemed hurried at time but we did see some fine specimens. It was our goal to harvest a second Doe/Fawn as advertised but found out after our arrival that we were not permitted. Most hunters were happy with their individual hunts. We ran into a problem with trespassers who Scot confronted. Unfortunately, we were with him and the situation became tense. I would recomend this hunt once the kinks are dealt with. Scot and his wife are quality people as well as the staff he had on hand. It was unfortunate that we ran into the the trespassers.

Manitoba is known as a top destination for avid waterfowl hunters. Huge flocks of ducks and geese can be found from the Arctic coast of Hudson Bay to the prairie potholes on the southern border of this Canadian province. There is no legal requirement for non-resident waterfowl hunters to use a guide, but many are available and a high percentage of non-Canadian hunters utilize them. In addition black bear, Canada moose and whitetails are hunted throughout the province.
