Reviewer Comments: We hunted with Tom on a fall Black Bear hunt in the Bitterroot Wilderness Area on a pack in 5 day hunt. In Montana it's all spot and stalk and it's tough hunting. We hunted hard for five days and did not see a bear but we saw Elk and Moose everyday. Tom keeps two hunters and one guide per camp so it's not a large camp. The meals were good and the guide worked hard day in and day out. Looking back I would hunt the area a little diferent and I think that I could find a bear.

Reviewer Comments: We hunted the Bitterroot Wilderness area and horsebacked in about nine miles to our camp. My pardner and I were the only hunters in camp plus one guide. The area was great and we saw Moose and Elk everyday but we just could not find any bears. Montana is spot and stock only NO bait so it makes for a hard hunt.
