Spot and Stalk Fall Black Bear
Great Hunt. I booked this hunt with Pat Feldt of Arizona Guided Hunts because I was looking for a spot and stalk fall black bear hunt. There were three hunters in camp and two of the three, including myself, bagged our bears on the first morning out. The third hunter bagged his bear the next day. I shot my bear at 310 yards, so be prepared for long shots. My bear was an old sow that weighed about 250 lbs with a jet black coat. No rubs. I have been on several guided hunts prior to this one and I can say that Pat is a very knowledgable and professional outfitter. His guides are also knowledgeable and hard working. His equipment is well maintained. Pat and his guides had done the pre-season scouting so they knew what the bears were feeding on and where they would most likely be. I would definately recommend booking a hunt with Pat and I will most likely book again with him in the future.

Reviewer Comments: Took a 340+ bull 2 hours into the hunt on the first day. The night before the opener, the bulls bugled around camp all night long. Arizona does a good job managing there elk herd--world class.

Guide Experience: One of the best guides I have
Other Personal Experience: All guides were very good.
Overall Impression: This is an exceptional archery hunt for the capable
Recommend: Absolutely
Reviewer Comments: This is a great archery hunt for Deer and Javalina. The javalina are fairly easy to stalk and good shot oppertunity. Mule deer are glassed from hill tops and the stalked. Good hunters would have 100 % shot oppertunity. Taking them just depends on how good you are. Good glass is a must here.

Reviewer Comments: 2002 HUNT-WEATHER WAS BAD, FOOD WAS MOSTLY BEAR MEAT FROM ONE HE KILLED EARLIER. GOOD GUIDE. BURNING PACKAGED LOGS DID NOT HEAT THE TENT. HUNT WAS CUT SHORT, STARTED PACKING ON THE 5TH DAY AND IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN A HUNT DAY. PRICE WAS GOOD, BUT IT WAS EXPECTED TO BE A GOOD YEAR AND ELK PLENTIFUL. IT WAS NOT THE OUTFITTERS FAULT THAT IT WAS COLDER IN TN. THAN AZ. GUIDE WORKED EXTREMELY HARD.

Reviewer Comments: Top-notch hunt for black bear in the prickly pear. Exceptionally hard working outfitter and guides. Overabundance of food had the bears very scattered, but all hunters still had an opportunity at a quality bear. Get in shape for this one!!! I will be hunting with them again for other species.

Reviewer Comments: Small but hard working group including the owner. This is a physical hunt as advertise with no hidden surprises. Pat tells you up front what to expect. Get in shape, work hard and learn to shoot at distance and you can connect. Saw good bears every day but held out for a real buster we knew was in the area.Glassed him last day in the evening but was way out of range. Prices are within reason considering the amount of scouting they do. This outfit does produce some good animals.

Saskatchewan Hunting Information
Saskatchewan is home to giant whitetails and skies filled with waterfowl. Saskatchewan is located in the northern part of the central flyway and harbors huge numbers of migrating ducks and geese. Canada moose and black bear are plentiful. Hundreds of outfitters are available to provide whatever kind of hunt a guy or gal needs.
Utah Hunting Information
Utah has recently been outstanding for trophy elk, but the best tags take many years to draw. Utah does have conservation tags available for purchase that allow hunters to bypass the drawing. Given the high demand for these premium tags prices can be high. In the past Utah has been a top trophy mule deer state but recently only a handful of units consistently produce B&C caliber deer.
Oregon Hunting Information
Oregon is not known to be a trophy big game producing state. That said they do have good quantities of animals such as Elk.
