Reviewer Comments: The owner promised us several accomodations on the trip that never came true. We booked the trip through him for a group to boar hunt and an Auodad hunt for two of us. He told us we would go to another ranch for the Auodad hunt and would be back in a half a day or one day max. We never made it to his ranch at all for the boar hunt. At his ranch was four other of our friends that were waiting for us, like we planned when we booked the trip. The owner charged a friend and I $750.00 apiece for the hunt at his land and $1750.00 apiece for the Auodad hunt on the other ranch. We never made to his ranch at all, and he refused to give a refund for the hunt on his land. I feel he cheated my friend and I out of $750.00 due to the fact we never stepped foot on his ranch to hunt boar like he promised. He is a terrible outfitter that makes all in the business look bad. On top of denying a refund, he refused to talk about the issue and hung up the phone. He will not call me back and sent e-mails that degraded us and called us names. He also made threats through these e-mails. A real man would have at least offered a free hunt on his ranch, but not him. He took our money and wanted nothing to do with us after we traveled about 1500 miles. It was a totally bad experience that cost a lot of money and made stress on what was suppose to be a vacation. If any one wishes to find out more about the incident please feel free to call.

Reviewer Comments: My brother and I saw more deer in four days of hunting with Texas Outfitters than we had seen in the previous thirty years of hard core bow hunting by ourselves. Ending the trip with a trophy eight and twelve point of our dreams seamed almost surreal. We are definitely going back for some spring turkey hunting.

Reviewer Comments: Frank provided a good quality hunt for average sized deer; however, we have a dispute with him because we had paid a premium price of $5500 each for a different hunt than the one which we did, and we do not agree that what we got was of comparable value. To that end, he has been very unprofessional, not only in his misrepresentation of the hunt which he provided, but in his negative response to our disagreement. I say "misrepresentation" because, in his brochure, Frank offers the very same hunt which we did, which was at The Outback Ranch, for $3750 each. He now insists that this hunt was equal in value to an opportunity to be his first ever, and only 2003 hunters, on his new premiere Drop Tine Ranch in Pearsall, which we paid for in advance. Here, he promised us opportunities at 160 plus class deer, which we had originally specified as what we were wanting to hunt. Please see the 2004 prices for a hunt on this ranch! Just prior to our hunting dates, Frank recommended that we move our hunt to the Outback Ranch in response to a notice from me that our father's failing health condition( one of three hunters in our party) could prevent him from being able to climb up into a tower blind. Frank referred to the Outback Ranch by another name(The Lower Ranch)and didn't even tell us that this was one of the regular offerings in his brochure for a lesser price. Being unfamiliar with his operations, we didn't know where we were at that time. The reason why he suggested the move was because (he said))that the cover was too thick at the Drop Tine to hunt from the ground, and this would have been a requirement for our father. Upon finishing our hunt at the Outback Ranch, we visited the Drop Tine and determined that there had been no good reason to move the hunt. Our 2003 hunt was meant to be a dream hunt of a lifetime for my brother and myself, with our father. It would be our only and last chance to do this, and after months of searching, we settled on the unique opportunity to be the first to hunt the Drop Tine Ranch with Frank. Our party grew up in South texas and have hunted deer there since 1956. 47 years later, we have a New Yorker telling us that we are not serious hunters and that we don't know what we got from him. Yes, we do. We want to go on record (according to Frank) as being the first group of hunters who have ever been dissatisfied in their business with him. He immediately reacted negatively and misinterpreted our appeal to reconcile the difference in the hunt. He has refused to agree to any credit for the hunt which we did, and has been very offensive in retaliation to our appeal. The difference in the hunt cost, according to his brochure, was $1,750 each. There will never be an opportunity for us to do this hunt with our Dad again. We regret that we chose to do it with this outfitter, who knows nothing about real Texas manners and hospitality, to say the least. We have kept full documentation of all correspondence with Frank since the initiation of our plan to hunt with him, and a journal was kept of our actual hunt. We regard this a a serious matter.

Reviewer Comments: We were personally taken to our blinds (1 of 12) in 4x4's by the guides and hunted over corn feeders on a 2,500 acre ranch. Saw a big one on very 1st hunt out and decided to wait. Ended up with the biggest buck in camp of 4 with a 8 pt. 10" tines 15" spread. Saw a couple of other possible shooters. Went mid-Dec at tail end of rut. Guides and food were excellent. 2 of the 4 got nice turkeys as well. Also taken was a respect. 9 pt. and 8 pt. the 4th guy shot a small 8 on his last day. 2 of 4 also got does. Frank offers an awesome quarantee. I would definitely go back. It was my first trip to Texas and a very memorable one. The guides worked hard and we concerned about you getting your trophy. No hidden fees or charges either.

Alberta Hunting Information
Alberta is a large, diverse province with rolling prairies, farmland, river bottoms, Boreal forests, and large expanses of the northern Rocky Mountains. Many species of big game, waterfowl, upland game and predators inhabit Alberta. Long known for monster whitetails, Alberta also is home to big mule deer, pronghorn antelope, elk, black bear, cougar, Canada moose, and bighorn sheep. In fact, 7 of the 10 largest bighorn sheep in Boone and Crockett record book are from Alberta. In addition to big game, Alberta offers some top notch bird hunting. Serious waterfowlers know about the large flocks of ducks and geese that call Alberta home or migrate through.
Ontario Hunting Information
Ontario is often considered a sportsman's paradise. This large province contains huge sections of wilderness, filled with thousands of lakes that provide excellent habitat for Canada moose and black bear. Excellent fishing for walleye, northern pike, muskie, smallmouth bass and other species can often be combined with a hunt. From spike camps to 5-star lodges, there are lodges, guides and outfitters for every adventure and every taste.
