Reviewer Comments: Anita's outfit really has their act together. There is no camp and 2 meals were provided. The 3 trophy hunting guides who led our group of 6 worked very hard on a 65000 acre ranch to put us all on animals that met or exceeded our expectations. This is my first mule deer; with a large, wide, tall rack and long 4x3 tines. It is a trophy well worth having mounted.

Reviewer Comments: Hunted mule deer for two days. Saw over 40 bucks first two days. Had shots at two heavy 30 inch 4 by 4 (not counting brow tines) bucks both days, but missed. Finally took a smaller, but still respectable 4 by 4 late the second day. My father also connected on a nice 5 by 4, and another in our party took a wide 4 by 3 with heavy antler mass. Only one member of party left empty handed, but he did have opportunities and scoped many good bucks. Guides are excellent and knowledgeable.

Reviewer Comments: The guide was great, very knowledgeable, and worked hard to get us on numerous animals of trophy quality. My son and I took Trophy size antelope on the 1st day. I was sorry we did not get mule deer tags as we saw hundreds of Mule Deer some with very large racks. We hunted in area 25 North East of Casper Wyoming. A.J. Outfitters is a small outfitter who specializes in quality hunts. I will definitely go back.

Reviewer Comments: My son and I hunted in area 25 n.e. of Casper Wyoming, We saw a large number of antelope and our guide kept having us pass on bucks until we spotted Trophy size bucks. We both took trophy size Antelope bucks. My only regret was that we did not apply for Mule deer tags as we saw hundreds of mule deer and some really nice bucks. This is a small but high quality outfitter with excellent guides who have literally been raised in this area and really know and understand the wildlife of the region.

Reviewer Comments: This outfitter is located in Casper, Wy. We hunted Area 25 that has respectable bucks from 13 to 14 inches, although we did see some that pushed 15. The method was spot and stalk and we each took heavy bodied bucks with horn lengths of just under 14 inches and really good mass. We saw plenty of antelopes and plenty of mule deer including some nice 4x4's and 5x5's. This outfitter also guides mule deer hunts.

Alberta Hunting Information
Alberta is a large, diverse province with rolling prairies, farmland, river bottoms, Boreal forests, and large expanses of the northern Rocky Mountains. Many species of big game, waterfowl, upland game and predators inhabit Alberta. Long known for monster whitetails, Alberta also is home to big mule deer, pronghorn antelope, elk, black bear, cougar, Canada moose, and bighorn sheep. In fact, 7 of the 10 largest bighorn sheep in Boone and Crockett record book are from Alberta. In addition to big game, Alberta offers some top notch bird hunting. Serious waterfowlers know about the large flocks of ducks and geese that call Alberta home or migrate through.
Colorado Hunting Information
Colorado is one of the best western states for trophy mule deer hunting and has the largest population of elk in the west.
New Mexico Hunting Information
New Mexico is one of the top destinations for trophy Elk and Antelope hunting. Draw odds can be tough depending on the unit but landowner tags are also available for those who don't draw. Mule Deer are plentiful but generally of average size. Only a couple of units and reservations consistently produce big muleys.
