Amazing outfitter
Have hunted with Thunder Ridge twice already. October of 2011 shot a great mule deer and record book antelope. Following year shot a nice 6X6 elk. Randy Morrison is a great outfitter, really cares and works hard for his clients success. Very knowledgeable of game in his area. Told a friend about him so he went elk hunting with him and shot a 6X7 bull elk.I'm going deer hunting with him again next year. All I can say is build up points for Wyoming I give him a try, you won't be disappointed !!

Late Muzzleloader
Thunder Ridge Outfitters has several great farms with trophy potential. They do not overhunt their farms and never have more than 8 hunters in camp at a time. The food and lodging were very good. This was my second trip with Tony and had a great time. The weather was not good for late muzzleloader, but I did see alot of deer and a few shooter Bucks. I missed on a 150" 10 point. I will be putting in for another iowa tag next year and when sucessful I will be booking with Thunder Ridge.

Like Family
I have hunted both whitetail & turkey with Thunder Ridge outfitters and ahve been very successful with both. Matter of fact I took my biggest whitetail with bow, scored 163, with Tony at Thunder Ridge. I have hunted deer or turkey with Thunder Ridge for five years. In that five years I have been lucky to draw tow bow tags. In both cases, I hunted with Thunder Ridge. I saw plenty of good quality bucks and had numberous opportunities to take a buck that would score over 150. This outfit is operated by two brothers that are bow hunters themselves therefore ensuring that stand placement is perfect for the bow hunter. They work very hard to ensure that yoou have multiple opportunities if needed at taking a mature buck. I have never been dissatisfied with the effort put forth by the guides, the number or quality of deer or turkey observed or the opportunity that I had to take a deer or turkey. I highly recommend this outfit and I will continue to return to Thunder Ridge to both bow and turkey hunt. My experience at Thunder Ridge has been like hunting with family.

Great experience
I Drew a tag this year and hunted the first two weeks of the archery season at thunder ridge outfitters. Knowing I may not draw again for another 3 years I thought it would be best to have the time blocked off in advanced. Thunder ridge runs one camp of no more than 8 guys in camp a week and my camp had 6 total. Funny there was no Steve R. or Chris b. From Jersey at all those two weeks. In fact of the 10 guys I hunted with ( of which 6 killed, all left camp with every intention of rebooking on their next draw). These two ficticious characters are simply on here bashing tro and promoting another site. Bad for business and bad for them. Wade and Tony run a top notch outfit from the lodge to the stands to the timbers they hunt. Every stand I sat was like it was the first time it had been sat, in fact most had never been. I saw atleast 15 deer every day and approximately 20 bucks finally harvesting a 150" nontypical on the 8th day. If your looking to book a tremendous whitetail hunt in Iowa do your own legwork like I did. Visit these boys website and call some REAL references on their site whom actually hunted with them. Good hunting.

Thunder RIdge Outfitters of IA is the worst
I have read alot of positive about these guys so I booked, on Cabelas word. Needless to say, knowing now, all the good reviews where by their buddies. What they are doing is leasing ground, picking out bucks for themselves to hunt, they kill them before they even take any hunters.. If you notice, they don't even start their hunts till Nov... I have witnessed them talking about other hunters in camp behind their backs in front of clients, sabotaging guys they don't like.. and catering to certain clients more.. Not much effort from them..at all.. Over all on a scale from 1-10, I would give them a 3.. Terrible hunt, and from what I found out, Cabelas is now sending people to his competitor Crashin Antlers. Cabelas says it is a much better ran operation..

Iowa Giants
These guys are the real deal. I went to Iowa with high hopes and was not let down. After watching hours of hunts on tv with giant deer falling on everyone, to say my expectations were high is a understatement and these guys lived up to all the hype. I saw my first true Booner and killed a giant 150 class 8 point in the same morning. Tony and Wade treated me great and I cant say enough about my Iowa hunt. They have great farms and was very happy with camp. Would recomend these guys to anyone, and as soon as the state grants me another tag I will be back with TRO

Iowa Giants
These guys are the real deal. I went to Iowa with very high expectations and they were all filled. I saw my first Booner and was able to kill a giant 150 class 8 point in the same morning. After watching hours of hunts on T.V. my anticipation for this hunt was through the roof and I walked away as happy as could be. Tony and Wade were great to be around and as soon as the state of Iowa grants me another tag I will be back to Thunder Ridge.

Wyoming Hunting Information
Wyoming is a great state for hunters! It offers a wide variety of good big game, turkey, small game, upland and predator hunting.
New Mexico Hunting Information
New Mexico is one of the top destinations for trophy Elk and Antelope hunting. Draw odds can be tough depending on the unit but landowner tags are also available for those who don't draw. Mule Deer are plentiful but generally of average size. Only a couple of units and reservations consistently produce big muleys.
Illinois Hunting Information
Illinois is widely known as a top trophy whitetail destination. Illinois also has some great waterfowl hunting, especially in southern portions of the state.
