Elk Hunt
I enjoyed the hunt although I didn't pull the trigger. Camp was great and food was exceptional. Really enjoyed the other guys from N.Y. Kelly, who is the son of David Slater the outfitter is a great guide. He worked very hard to find elk. Weather was a problem in that we needed snow to get the elk migrating from the higher elevations. This is a physical hunt as the terrain is steep and at an elevation of 9,400+. Beautiful part of Colorado! Saw some cows, but no bulls. The only negative is that I signed (as per contract) for a 7 day hunt. When I arrived at camp David said that he lost my contract and gave me another one to sign that read 5 days. That ticked me off, but after 5 days I was worn out, and dead tired. However, all things considered I'd book again.

Iowa Hunting Information
Iowa is one of the best Midwestern states for monster whitetail bucks. Non-residents must apply for a tag in their annual drawing. Archery tags are the most sought after and depending on what units you apply for generally take 2-4 years to draw.
Wyoming Hunting Information
Wyoming is a great state for hunters! It offers a wide variety of good big game, turkey, small game, upland and predator hunting.
Manitoba Hunting Information
Manitoba is known as a top destination for avid waterfowl hunters. Huge flocks of ducks and geese can be found from the Arctic coast of Hudson Bay to the prairie potholes on the southern border of this Canadian province. There is no legal requirement for non-resident waterfowl hunters to use a guide, but many are available and a high percentage of non-Canadian hunters utilize them. In addition black bear, Canada moose and whitetails are hunted throughout the province.
