Reviewer Comments: My hunt would have been excellent if i would have had a knowledgable guide, 8 of 9 hunters took good Bulls, I being the unsuccessful one. all others reported seeing many bulls and having opportunities to pick and choose. I booked another hunt but i also asked for a specific Guide (littlebow) is her nick name. Looking forward to the next hunt. all other aspects of the hunt were great.

Reviewer Comments: We hunted the Floyd Lee Ranch in October of 2005. Saw many good bulls. 6 of the 8 in camp harvested. The other 2 had many many shots. Nice 5X5's and small 6X6's. Would do it again in a heartbeat.

Reviewer Comments: After a wonderful hunt, my first time to Africa, I was quite shocked to find that this fiend Geyer, so nice in camp, had swindled me out of my trophies. The hunt, airfare, and taxidermy set me back over twelve thousand dollars, and after 5 years it looks like I will never see my trophies. A warning to all out there: It is my understanding that This outfitter, Gerhard Geyer, is also a licensed P.H., and operates out of south Africa as well. In addition to stealing my trophies he also kept the deposit I left him for the taxidermist.

Reviewer Comments: Hunting on public land (National Forest) 26 hunters all total in 3 different camps killed 26 6X6 bulls of various quality (hard to believe but true).. Bulls killed scored between 260 to 342 as I recall .. This was a draw hunt area for trophy bulls so the chance to kill a 6X6 was very good ... The first day of the hunt I saw a 370-380 bull that we could not catch up to in the timber .. I killed my 342 bull the second morning ... USO works as a "team" .. When a hunter scores, his guide helps scout for a hunter who has not yet scored .. Therefore, you may have your private guide but also have two or three other guides helping scout for you after the 2nd or 3rd day if you have not killed a bull yet .. What other outfitter would do this ?? .... None I have ever hunted with ...

Reviewer Comments: Hunted 2hunters/guide. Saw lots of elk and at least 5 bulls the first day. I killed large 4X5 second morning. Could have passed waiting for larger bull. 6 hunters of 8 killed elk, one missed several and other passed several looking for trophy. Have been on 10 guided hunts and USO is head and shoulders above any of the the others. Was my second hunt with USO and was very happy both times.

Reviewer Comments: Professional outfit who knows their hunting area. Guides are great, hotel accomadations could have been nicer. I would have perferred a tent camp myself. Harvested a 6 X 6, buddy passed 3 legal bulls and missed a nice 6X^ last morning.

Reviewer Comments: Advertized as a 5-day WORLD-CLASS TROPHY BULL elk hunt, USO Application service used my 5 years of AZ Pref-points to draw a 4-DAY ANY-ELK tag in an open, lowland/cattle country MANAGEMENT unit where I saw NO Elk at all. The unit had been pounded by hundreds of COW-ELK hunters the week before I arrived. I paid full price (for a 5-day hunt) and full price for my own guide. I completed a hunter-sat survey, sent a long letter explaining my dis-sat to outfitter & never got a reply back.

New Mexico Hunting Information
New Mexico is one of the top destinations for trophy Elk and Antelope hunting. Draw odds can be tough depending on the unit but landowner tags are also available for those who don't draw. Mule Deer are plentiful but generally of average size. Only a couple of units and reservations consistently produce big muleys.
Quebec Hunting Information
Quebec is probably best know as an excellent caribou hunting destination. Hunters from across the globe travel to Quebec to hunt their big Quebec-Labrador caribou migration. In addition to caribou hunting, Quebec offers black bears, Canada moose and whitetails.
Colorado Hunting Information
Colorado is one of the best western states for trophy mule deer hunting and has the largest population of elk in the west.
