Great Hog Hunt
I have hunted with Blaine twice. One on a deer/hog hunt in late December 2014 and once for hogs in March of 2016. Saw and killed hogs on both hunts. One boar was 300 lbs and the other was 400 lbs. Saw other hogs, just didn't shoot. I had great times on both hunts. This is fair chase, in the wild hunting. This is not a guaranteed hunt, you have to hunt, not just shoot. The guides were good knowledgeable people who worked hard for you. Yes I will go back.

Good Hunt
This was my second hunt with Blaine and his crew. The first was in Dec 2014 for deer and hogs. We killed one buck and a 300 boar during the hunt. Saw other game, just didn't harvest more. Went back for a second trip in March of 2016. This time we harvested 300 and 400 pound boars. Saw other hogs, just not the size we wanted to shoot. The second hunt was strictly hunting at night. Plenty of activity for me. I will go back again. This is a free range hunt and not a guarantee. You can't be playing on your phone or talking while on the stand, the boars are like ninjas. Worth the price of admission for me. Met some nice people at camp. I like cooking for myself because you eat what you want. I didn't mind travelling to town for a restaurant. I was on vacation. This is affordable and worth the money. Have driven from Maine twice to do this and will do it again.

Wild Turkey
Certainly one of the best spots I have been to in the South. I have been 3 consecutive years and every year I have seen a lot of turkeys . Killed a 25 lb. long beard last year and one the first year I hunted. One miss that was on me. I have used 4 guides and all of them are very experienced and knowledgeable about the local area and good callers. Very comfortable lodge with TV and modern kitchen or you can drive 15 to 20 minutes if you don't want to cook. Nice bass pond at the lodge as well if you like to fish after your hunt. Some beautiful property for deer and hogs as well. Blaine has the property in good shape for attracting deer and turkeys. My son and I killed bucks and there are some nice racks on display. Good folks, good hunting , easy to get to.

This place sucks
I spent $550.00, plus 2 days out of the office at $225.00/hr in billable hours, plus $62.00 for my share of fuel, plus approximately $100.00 for my food to boar hunt. There were 6 of us and only one person killed a boar. None of us saw a wild boar during daylight hours, and two of us (of which I was one) neither saw nor heard a wild boar. We were reduced to hunting in the dark with flashlights and spotlights. I had to go to Walmart to buy a flashlight to tape on my gun. My friend, John booked the hunt at least 5 months in advance. When we got there, we surmised that the feeders had just been recently filled and the hogs had not yet started coming to many of the feeders. The outfitter and guides were friendly and they did let me use a gun when I discovered my rifle scope was damaged. However, that is as far as my compliments go. It was definitely a total waste of time. The only game I saw that I hunt, were turkeys, and I have more than enough of them at home. On a scale of 1 to 10, it gets a 1.

Reviewer Comments: I TOOK FIVE PEOPLE DOWN TO WOODS AND WATERS TROPHY DEER HUNTING TO HUNT FOR A TROPHY WHITETAIL BUCK,ONE DOE,AND ONE HOG. WHEN WE GOT THERE WE FOUND OUT THE DEER ON THE WEBSITE WASN'T KILLED THERE. THE LODGE HAD NO HEAT AND IT GOT DOWN TO 15 DEGREES AND WE USED SPACE HEATERS. WE SAW A TOTAL OF ABOUT 30 DOES AND 3 VERY LITTLE BUCKS AND NO HOGS BETWEEN FIVE PEOPLE HUNTING 10 HOURS A DAY. THE FOOD PLOTS ON THE WEBSITE IS AT THE CABIN AND YOU COULD NOT HUNT THERE THEY TOOK US 30 MILES NORTH TO HUNT. THE CABIN IS AN OLD HOUSE WITH THE PAINT FALLING OFF THE OUTSIDE THE WASHER AND DRYER DIDN'T WORK. THE GUIDE GOT DRUNK AND DROVE MY BROTHERS BACK IN THE EVENINGS SWERVING ALL OVER THE PLACE. OUT OF A TOTAL OF 5 PEOPLE HUNTED 30 HOURS A PIECE ON A 3 DAY HUNT NO ONE SEEN NO HOGS, SEEN 3 VERY LITTLE BUCKS,THE POND IS KNEE DEEP FROM ONE SIDE TO THE OTHER,I HUNTED A PLANTED PINE THICKET WITH NO FOOD SOURCE OR WATER, MY DAD HUNTED A STAND LOOKING OVER A FIELD THAT HAD NO CROP AT ALL IT WAS DIRT,MY BROTHER HUNTED A STAND LOOKING AT A DIRT ROAD WITH SMALL PINES ON BOTH SIDES. IT WAS A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE FOR WHITE TAIL THEY HAD PLENTY OF TURKEYS BUT THATS IT NOTHING ELSE.
