Had a very good hunt I shot a bear first night in stand. 8 hunters in camp and had 6 bears by Thursday night. You are guided to and from the bait sights and rebaited when taken in. The food that week was great and plenty of it with 3 meals per day. For those that would like to take a guest this is the place to do it. We had our own lake side cabin that was really nice. Ryan and Jennifer put on a great hunt week. The bears in this area of Maine are smaller than other area but still able to get 250 to 350lb bears. I shot 160 lb female my first bear. I am returning fall of 2011 to try to get larger bear.

Reviewer Comments: Ryan,Jen and Don are very good guides, very informative, personal and just all around good people. There where 12 hunters in camp they take a max of 14 per week. Out of 12 we harvested 9, one missed, one was looking for the big one and one didn't see any bears. The food is great and it's family style. The stands are new and blinds are well done great hunting camp going back again

Utah Hunting Information
Utah has recently been outstanding for trophy elk, but the best tags take many years to draw. Utah does have conservation tags available for purchase that allow hunters to bypass the drawing. Given the high demand for these premium tags prices can be high. In the past Utah has been a top trophy mule deer state but recently only a handful of units consistently produce B&C caliber deer.
Iowa Hunting Information
Iowa is one of the best Midwestern states for monster whitetail bucks. Non-residents must apply for a tag in their annual drawing. Archery tags are the most sought after and depending on what units you apply for generally take 2-4 years to draw.
Manitoba Hunting Information
Manitoba is known as a top destination for avid waterfowl hunters. Huge flocks of ducks and geese can be found from the Arctic coast of Hudson Bay to the prairie potholes on the southern border of this Canadian province. There is no legal requirement for non-resident waterfowl hunters to use a guide, but many are available and a high percentage of non-Canadian hunters utilize them. In addition black bear, Canada moose and whitetails are hunted throughout the province.
