Deer & Antelope
This was my 6th consecutive hunt with Ponderosa Outfitters and as always, it exceeded expectations. Our outfitter, Ivan Tiegan, is an expert at setting the hunt at your pace and to your capability. He knows the terrain and will put you in position for a successful hunt. My last antelope was 16 1/2 and scored 82 inches. The accommodations are family style and the atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. I highly recommend this outfitter - it is an experience you will want to repeat.

Bruce provided a great camp and hunt for my father, son and myself. Everyone had shot opportunities. My son hit a 6x6 elk and could not find it. My dad had a chance at a mule deer buck but could not get a bead on him. I shot a 4x4 elk and a 5x5 mule deer. Camp was cozy and we were fed really well. Had a foot of snow by the middle of the hunt and we used vehicles and atv for transportation. We highly recommend this outfitter. We received what was expected and beyond. He and his guides worked very hard and accommodated us in any way needed.

Kansas Hunting Information
Kansas is one of the top producing monster whitetail buck states in the country. It also has some excellent turkey hunting and a few big mule deer in the western part of the state. Kansas has an excellent reputation as a top notch destination for upland birds. It has excellent populations of pheasant and quail due to the vast expanse of suitable prairie and grassland type habitat.
Manitoba Hunting Information
Manitoba is known as a top destination for avid waterfowl hunters. Huge flocks of ducks and geese can be found from the Arctic coast of Hudson Bay to the prairie potholes on the southern border of this Canadian province. There is no legal requirement for non-resident waterfowl hunters to use a guide, but many are available and a high percentage of non-Canadian hunters utilize them. In addition black bear, Canada moose and whitetails are hunted throughout the province.
Oregon Hunting Information
Oregon is not known to be a trophy big game producing state. That said they do have good quantities of animals such as Elk.
