Reviewer Comments: 2 friends and I hunted Bent Creek Jan 07 for 4 days. We saw maybe 14 deer between the 3 of us and 1 friend shot a nice 8 pointer. The food was great and the guides were friendly but the owners limited their input. You could not set the same stand twice and do bring your own ATV or stand. The owners were not friendly and did not care about our hunt.

Species Hunted: Whitetail

Game Quality: Extremely Poor

Accommodation Quality: Good

Camp Condition: Good

Food Quality: Excellent

Guide Experience: Were not guides

Other Personal Experience: Good

Overall Impression: Very Bad

Recommend: No way

Reviewer Comments: The areas hunted were being used way to often. The morning hunts were a waste of time, they put us in bow blinds and any deer walking through that area was probably lost. I saw 15 does, 4 spikes in my time there. One person in my party never saw one animal. (He did see a pack of wild dogs) Amazing though, Mosey Oak people showed up to film a hunt and on both nights they went out the shot a nice 8 point and an old six point. It must have been a miracle because we sure didn't see anything worth shooting. Makes you think that we were set up. If you want to waste your money, book this hunt.

Species Hunted: Whitetail deer

Game Quality: Extremely poor

Accommodation Quality: Fair

Camp Condition: Good

Food Quality: Good

Guide Experience: Extremely poor

Other Personal Experience: Extremely poor

Overall Impression: Extremely disappointing

Recommend: Absolutely not

Reviewer Comments: I've hunted quite a few places down south and Bent Creek was by far the worst. Guides and staff had little to no interaction with hunters (until it was time to pay our balance). They never shared any information about where we would be hunting, famaliarized us with the geographic location, or gave us any tips for the particular stands or blinds we would be stationed in. They were chauffeurs, not guides. It was also obvious that the stands and blinds were not being rotated and they were being used day after day. This was evident by the garbage and shell cases left in and around every stand and blind i occupied. One hunter in my group lost his drivers license one afternoon and a hunter from another group found it in the blind he was in the next afternoon. During my 3 day hunt i saw 1 button buck, 4 does, and one buck with 3 points on one side an 1 spike on the other. I don't rate an outfitter by success alone, but the lack of game we saw combined with the unprofessional attitudes of guides and staff made my experience at Bent Creek extremely disappointing.

Reviewer Comments: My friend and i were expecting to kill at least a 13 or 14 inch wide buck, but we didn't even see one. i saw 3 deer and he 7 in three days. They put me in a stand one morning that was on the edge of cut over that had been freshly burned. I was not impressed with their stands, or their guides.
