Awesome Time!!!

Randy is an awesome guide! I was a first time turkey hunter, and a lady as well, and Randy's knowledge of turkey's and the land was amazing! He taught me alot during those three days, and even though I missed my shot, Randy gave me an awesome hunt! The accommedations were very nice and more comfortable than some high priced hotels I have stayed at! Marnie's cooking was fabulous, and Jamie was so friendly and funny! If you are a girl and want to go on a guided hunt, this outfitter is what you are looking for! I did not feel like an outsider coming into a "good ol' boys" club, and even the other hunters there were willing to pass on their knowledge and tips! I will never forget what a great time I had with Randy and the gang! Deffinately going next year!!!

2011 Gun Season Opener

Twin Creek Outfitters delivers everything they promise. They owners Randy and Jamie are awesome. The Lodge is very very nice! Extremely comfortable with all the ammenities of home and the deer hunting is everything they claim. My dad and I hunted the gun season opener. Even with unseasonable warm weather I took a nice 130" on day 1 and my dad killed a 2.5 yr old 9 pt on day 2. My only warning would be to hunters who are not experienced judging deer in the field. They will fine you for taking a deer that does not meet there 3yr old / 130" minimum. My dad got caught up in the excitement and took a deer that did not meet there requirements. Even though it was a respectable deer @ approx 105"-110". These are the animals Randy is trying to protect and you will be fined for taking a deer that does not meet there minimums. That being said ... I am considering a return archery hunt this fall. That should tell you what I think of the hunting potential.

Excellent Place Hunt

I have hunted with Twin Creek Now for 2 Years and These guys are great. These guys know hunting in and out. When u get to the lodge you wont believe how nice it is.I have hunted missouri for 2 years before i went to Twin Creek and these guys are real friends not someone who just wants your money.Randy Jamie And Zack are the Guides and they do all they can to make your hunt the best it can be.Marnie is Jamies wife and she prepares all the food so it is ready when you get back at the end of the day and let me tell you her cooking is unreal you will never go hungry.I have have never went a day without seeing deer. In the 2 years i have hunted with Twin Creek I have seen shooters almost every day. This last year Randy had me on a 10pt That was between 150 and 160 and every day i would see him but he was always on the move. It was harder on Randy Then me on the last day when I just couldnt get a shot on him.To sum it all up I would recommend Twin Creek to anybody who loves huntin giant bucks and wants to spend a week with people who end up being very close friends.I dont think a week goes by all year that Randy doesnt give me a call just to see how im doing. The deer will not let you down the lodge is increadible and Randy Jamie Zack And Marnie will give you the shirt off there back any day Excellent Place to hunt.

Buck of a lifetime!

The guys at Twin Creek are awesome! The lodge is very clean and the food is excellent. We had a group of 6. I shot a high 160 class buck & my buddy shot a 150 class. Our other friend shot a white coyote. All in all we had a great time & will be back next year.

Top Notch

As always, had an excellent time chasing big Indiana whitetails! The Bennett family provides hospitality that is second to none. Great hunting, great food, and overall great atmosphere. The hunting is 100% fair chase but these guys will put you on big whitetails. This was my second consecutive year hunting with Twin Creek, and my buddies and I are already counting down the days til next year.

Great Hunts at Twin Creek Outfitters

This is a great place to hunt. Twin Creek is located in the Southern Part of Indiana near Salem IN. Jamie and Randy Bennett run a first class operation. The accommodations are clean, cozy and comfortable. Don't go on a diet while you are there because Jamie's wife Marnie is a great cook and you won't want to miss any of the excellant home cooked meals. The hunting is excellent and they offer great fair chase hunts for whitetails and turkeys. They know the area and the patterns and they have great stands placed in strategic locations. They have a very well managed deer herd and I always see deer on stand. Sometimes just four or five but I have had up to 40 parade by me in one morning. I had an opportunity at a very nice deer last year but I missed. I estimate he was a 150-160 class and I have been kicking myself since I left. I have booked another hunt for a shot of redemption. I hope to be able to post a picture soon.

Very Nice Hunt

Very nice operation, low key, down home hospitality and cooking. Nice lodge. Jamie and Randy are true good folk. In 3 days I saw 5 bucks, one 120 class at 50 yards (closest one) but I was looking for bigger. A good portion of Indiana is flatter, but this pocks in southern part of state is farmland with ridges and ravines and woodlots. Great whitetail habitat. They have ladder stands, treestands and ground blinds on different parcels to accomodate different hunter preferences and comfort levels. Would recommend Twin Creek to families too, as their Lodge is a darn nice place to relax. I still tell me wife about Marney (Jamie’s wife's) cooking - a piece or two with every meal! “I took my first out of state whitetail deer hunting trip last December, after piling through the internet I decided to give Twin Creek Outfitters in Southern Indiana a shot. I contacted Randy Bennett of Twin Creeks and he was extremely friendly and helpful telling what to bring with me for gear and described the land and the whitetail behavior in their location in Southern Indiana. I am from Northern New York state about 25 miles from the Canadian border and I’m very accustomed to hunting in extremely cold conditions, ( I’ve hunted in -30 degrees). Unfortunately the weather turned very cold that first week in December while hunting at Twin Creek Lodge and the big bucks simply weren’t moving to the food plots until nightfall, so I didn’t get an opportunity to harvest a buck during my three day hunt, maybe hunting a day or two would have made a difference. I did see plenty of fresh buck sign on the property including a rub on a Cedar tree which was about 16” in diameter and I saw the largest rack buck (absolutely MASSIVE) I’ve ever seen about half a mile from the lodge, unfortunately it was about 10:00 at night while driving back from town. I would recommend Twin Creek Outfitters to anyone, not just hunters because the Lodge is next to Jamie and Marney Bennett’s home and they are two of the friendliest people I’ve ever met and went out of their way to make sure I was well fed and comfortable. The Lodge is extremely clean and well kept and you feel like you’re staying with family. Jamie’s wife Marney prepared the lunch and dinners and the food itself was worth the cost of the stay, she really is a fabulous cook. Jamie was injured years ago in an accident and uses a wheelchair and a four wheeler to get around, but don’t feel bad for him because he has a fantastic outlook on life and he kept me excited and encouraged about hunting even though the bucks weren’t moving. Randy’s son Zach worked very hard to get me onto a buck by placing me in several different stands and I think he was more disappointed than I was when I left without a big buck. In short I would say whether you are a beginner or veteran deer hunter you would enjoy a hunting trip to Twin Creek Outfitters just to meet the folks that operate it and I know the opportunity is there to harvest a 150”+ buck of a lifetime! Arizona has lots of trophy big game but is probably best known for its trophy elk and mule deer. This partially due to the limited number of tags available.

Iowa is one of the best Midwestern states for monster whitetail bucks. Non-residents must apply for a tag in their annual drawing. Archery tags are the most sought after and depending on what units you apply for generally take 2-4 years to draw.

Alberta Hunting Information

Alberta is a large, diverse province with rolling prairies, farmland, river bottoms, Boreal forests, and large expanses of the northern Rocky Mountains. Many species of big game, waterfowl, upland game and predators inhabit Alberta. Long known for monster whitetails, Alberta also is home to big mule deer, pronghorn antelope, elk, black bear, cougar, Canada moose, and bighorn sheep. In fact, 7 of the 10 largest bighorn sheep in Boone and Crockett record book are from Alberta. In addition to big game, Alberta offers some top notch bird hunting. Serious waterfowlers know about the large flocks of ducks and geese that call Alberta home or migrate through.
