Brown Bear Hunt
I had hunted with Paul Brand before for black bears and had a great trip, so I booked a brown bear hunt. We went in 2 days early to have a cushion on weather, and I experienced world class silver salmon fishing for 2 -3 days, and then we bear hunted. We saw at least 50 different bears, and maybe as high as 80. I just didn't want to count the same bears twice. In the end, I passed some small bears, and in the last hour of the last day, I missed a BIG bear. My Fault! Paul and Bud Willard worked extremely hard for me, and it just didn't happen. My hunting partner had a couple opportunities and killed a bear on day 8.

Spring Hunt
My son and I hunted with Paul Brand on a spring boat hunt. There were 4 hunters on board and everyone was successful. Food, accomodations, people, guides, everything was as good as it could be! I have hunt all my life and this was the best hunt by far. Great people, acconidations, hunting and game and new friends were made. I highly recommend Paul and his hunts. I am signing up for Paul's brown bear hunt for fall 2011.

2010 fall black bear
hunted with my wife and 17 year old daughter. Averaged sighting 15 to 25 bears a day. All 3 filled tags. Food was good and very comfortable atmosphere. Paul was patient with a young hunter; stopping so she could photograph wildlife and investigate fauna. One of the best trips we have been on. Highly recommend him.

Alberta Hunting Information
Alberta is a large, diverse province with rolling prairies, farmland, river bottoms, Boreal forests, and large expanses of the northern Rocky Mountains. Many species of big game, waterfowl, upland game and predators inhabit Alberta. Long known for monster whitetails, Alberta also is home to big mule deer, pronghorn antelope, elk, black bear, cougar, Canada moose, and bighorn sheep. In fact, 7 of the 10 largest bighorn sheep in Boone and Crockett record book are from Alberta. In addition to big game, Alberta offers some top notch bird hunting. Serious waterfowlers know about the large flocks of ducks and geese that call Alberta home or migrate through.
