New Mexico Hunting Overview
New Mexico's largest elk generally come from the units in the western half of the state but there are some units in the central and northern portions of the state that produce some big bull too. New Mexico produces some of the biggest Antelope in the country. Every year many B&C bucks are harvested here. Mule deer inhabit New Mexico although most parts of the state haven't historically produces the larger bucks found in other western states. There are some Coues deer here as well with the best units in the south western units. New Mexico has the only free huntable ranging population of Oryx Barbary Sheep and Ibex in the U.S.
British Columbia Hunting Information
British Columbia is an excellent hunting destination that offers a wide variety of game species. Vast wilderness areas and pristine coastlines provide world class adventure hunting for those seeking that trip of a lifetime. BC is arguably best known for big coastal black bears, Canada moose, grizzly bear, mountain lion, Dall sheep and Stone sheep. Hunters can book a hunt with an outfitter and avoid the license drawing process common in most U.S. states.
Kansas Hunting Information
Kansas is one of the top producing monster whitetail buck states in the country. It also has some excellent turkey hunting and a few big mule deer in the western part of the state. Kansas has an excellent reputation as a top notch destination for upland birds. It has excellent populations of pheasant and quail due to the vast expanse of suitable prairie and grassland type habitat.
Utah Hunting Information
Utah has recently been outstanding for trophy elk, but the best tags take many years to draw. Utah does have conservation tags available for purchase that allow hunters to bypass the drawing. Given the high demand for these premium tags prices can be high. In the past Utah has been a top trophy mule deer state but recently only a handful of units consistently produce B&C caliber deer.
