Reviewer Comments: Dale runs a fine camp. My son took a real nice Bear as did some other hunters. It just was'nt meant to be for me. I did not want to judge on my success. We had a great time and we have a reason to go back. It was a full moon, maybe that's why it was a little slow. I don't know as I am a rookie Bear hunter. Still a fine outfit and Dale has been hunting Bears all his life, he knows what he's doing. Besides, you need to go just to try Tara's (his wife) pork ribs. Killer!

Reviewer Comments: This was my 2nd hunt with Bearpaw Outfitters. This time we hunted antelope and mule deer on an 80,000 acre private ranch outside Forsyth, MT. Our guide was Jeff and he was a great guide. We easily saw over 2000 antelope and several mule deer on our 2 day hunt. Both me and my hunting partner tagged out (2 antelope and a mule deer each) on the first day of our hunt. On the second day, we enjoyed some fantastic prairie dog shooting. We will definitely be hunting with Bearpaw again.

Reviewer Comments: I hunted with BearPaw first week of October for the muzzleloader deer season and had an awesome time. Food was good, lodging comfortable and company was great. Tara and the guides really make you feel right at home. From opening day on, I saw legions of deer! They were all over the place! No one can complain about the lack of deer in the area. My guide Brian knew his stuff and was able to connect me with a real dandy buck-but alas an equipment failure kept me from harvesting at the moment of truth. If you are in the market for a great hunt with plenty of deer to be seen to include some real whoppers check out this hunt with BearPaw, odds are if you hunt muzzleloader I’ll see you there!

Reviewer Comments: Lots of bear sighted. In our group, we had 5 hunters with 4 shooting opportunities and three kills. Long range shooting ability is necessary. Plan on returning for more fun. Thanks.

Reviewer Comments: Bearpaw Outfitters/ Dale Denney runs an awesome operation. The location is great and the amount of game sighted was just as good. Meals were always prepared hot and tastes great. The guides were very knowledgable of the area and took care of the field dressing and game preparation after the kill. I would recommend this outfitter to anybody looking to hunt black bears. The Denney's and their guides are a great bunch of people and i couldnt have asked for a better experience.

Reviewer Comments: I hunted with Bearpaw for turkey several years ago and came back last year for Whitetail. I booked a trophy hunt and hunted on private property for 4 point or larger bucks. This was an imposed rule by the outfitter to keep the quality of the bucks high. It has been working. I got my buck and was very please. I returned this year but booked the economy guided hunt. I was on private land with bucks of lesser genetics. I did see a 4 point and took my shot. I didn't do my part and it is still out there for someone to take. I enjoy doing business with Bearpaw and I'm planning next years hunt for Whitetail and possibly mule deer. My guide was Tom on this hunt who great. If you interested in Turkeys this is the area to be in. They are everywhere and this outfitter knows how to hunt them.

Reviewer Comments: My guide Ray and I hunted hard for 5 days with no shooting opportunity so Dale extended the hunt for another day and I missed one in the morning and shot my 360 pound male in the last ten minutes of the hunt. Ray dragged the bear through the thickest brush, I've been in for years, with me clearing a path in front of him for 6 hours to get the bear out. Ray and Dale made it happen for me. Outstanding September 2003 Blackbear hunt.

Reviewer Comments: Me and a friend booked a three day cow elk hunt in Utah with Dale Denney of Bearpaw Outfitters. We both took 550 pond cow elk on the first day of the hunt. We saw a lot of elk and some real nice mule deer. Dale runs a very good camp and you will not find an outfitter that works any harder than Dale. Since we tagged out on the first day of our hunt, we spent the next two days tagging along with Dale, his son, and his son's friend on a mountain lion hunt. It was an exciting time and Dale's son's friend took a nice cougar.

Reviewer Comments: Second time in two years with BearPaw. Actually couldn't count all the bucks I saw and passed on. On the second morning I took a beautiful mature 4X4 with real deep forks. I had passed on numerous bucks which had wider antlers but not the deep forks. This is a family run business where the hunters feel more like family than clients. Dale, Sam, Bud and Sandy are a team thats hard to beat.

Iowa Hunting Information
Iowa is one of the best Midwestern states for monster whitetail bucks. Non-residents must apply for a tag in their annual drawing. Archery tags are the most sought after and depending on what units you apply for generally take 2-4 years to draw.
Manitoba Hunting Information
Manitoba is known as a top destination for avid waterfowl hunters. Huge flocks of ducks and geese can be found from the Arctic coast of Hudson Bay to the prairie potholes on the southern border of this Canadian province. There is no legal requirement for non-resident waterfowl hunters to use a guide, but many are available and a high percentage of non-Canadian hunters utilize them. In addition black bear, Canada moose and whitetails are hunted throughout the province.
