Reviewer Comments: There were twelve guys going in my group, and Ron and Dave cancelled due to unforseen problem. But neglected to ever call us again... He took the money and run!! At $609.90 US dollars, per person, that they have of our hard earned money!! These guys are still taking money and not offering hunts... So stay away from Robson2 Outfitters from Ontario... Nothing but crooks...

Reviewer Comments: My hunting party (11 guys) were scammed out of a hunt in 2002 by Ron Robson. He cancelled the hunts and has not been heard of since....He is under investigation by the Mounted Canadian Police. Please all hunters stay away form this guy, he is giving all Canadian Outfitters a bad name. General note: I calculated the money that Robson2 scammed last year (2002) around 250,000.00 U.S., please don't be the next hunter scammed.

Overall Impression: Con Artist

Recommend: Recommend they go to Prison

Reviewer Comments: Myself and four others had a bear hunt scheduled for September of 2002. Robson2 Cancelled the hunt one (1) week prior to us leaving, giving us a lot of bogus excuses for the cancellation. He made promises of rescheduling the hunt for 2003 but never followed up. We have been in contact with the authorities in Canada to prosecute these CROOKS. Quite a few hunters were ROBBED by these guys…Send them to JAIL…

Reviewer Comments: I am one of approximately 60 hunters that got ripped off for Fall 2002 hunt. Robson took our money and ran. The Ontario police are working on the case. Now, I understand that this isn't the first time this has happened. The police constable said that she is upset because he still has a web site advertising his hunts. Please inform everyone to NOT book a hunt through this crook. BEWARE!!

Overall Impression: TOTAL SCAM

Recommend: TO ROT IN PRISON

Reviewer Comments: Ron's BMA holder dropped him. He cancelled all of his deer and bear hunts and will not return any phone calls or refund anyone's money. I know of over 60 people who have been ripped off by him and we are in the process of taking him to court to get our money back and to have him locked up in jail for a long time. Also, some of his references were fake, and he lied about his success rate. The only place he should be is in prison working off the money he owes us!!!!!

Recommend: NO ONE SHOULD EVER BOOK

Reviewer Comments: I booked a hunt with them for the last week in November 2002. When I arrived there was no one there. Found out that they had pulled camp sometime in early september. Went to their listed addresses and found only dave's house in whitby, ont. Had to wait one day to get my truck repaired from the damage done to it when trying to drive in to their non-existant camp. Finally caught up with Ron by phone and he lied to me over and over. No money returned. This happened to at least 30 other hunters. I am working with the Ontario Provincial Police, Constable Carruthers (613)432-3211 and The Ministry of Natural Resources, Mr.Murray Jackson. Please contact them if you have been ripped-off too. Call Ron's regular employer, ask for the supervisor, and let him know about your experience. 416-392-7741 STAY AWAY FROM THESE OUTLAWS Call me for any info. 315-821-6482 James Dowd President NYS Big Buck Club

Species Hunted: Black Bear

Game Quality: none sighted

Accommodation Quality: Poor

Camp Condition: Worn

Food Quality: average to below

Guide Experience: no experience was evident

Other Personal Experience: no other personel

Overall Impression: There was NO HUNT

Recommend: absolutely not

Reviewer Comments: Booked a hunt for black bear. There were six other hunters. Robson had many inconsistencies in his stories. Food was poor. Baits sites were within sight of the road. Baits had only been out a day or two before and consisted of anise oil if any bait at all. None were active. Stand sight preparation was poor to none existant. We "hunted" for about four hours and were picked forty five minutes before sundown. The next morning the hunt was cancelled. Fortunately we did get our money refunded. I would not recommend them for any hunt ever.

Species Hunted: Black Bear

Game Quality: Great

Accommodation Quality: Very comfortable

Camp Condition: Great

Food Quality: Excellant

Guide Experience: Excellant

Other Personal Experience: All Excellant

Overall Impression: Top of the line

Recommend: Highly

Reviewer Comments: Just came back from my first Ontario bear hunt and wanted to share this with everyone. I usually hunt deer with Dave/Ron with some great success. I heard they secured a bear area so I booked this hunt without hesitation. For the past six years I have had seen huge bear that I couldn't harvest. Well, I arrowed a 386lb black bear in the first half hour of my hunt. The food, accommodations, guides were great as usual. The baits were all active with some big bears hitting them (as seen by the trail timers when I got in), with the tree stand locations very close for the traditional shooters in mind. These guys have done it again. I am now a reference for them

Alberta Hunting Information

Alberta is a large, diverse province with rolling prairies, farmland, river bottoms, Boreal forests, and large expanses of the northern Rocky Mountains. Many species of big game, waterfowl, upland game and predators inhabit Alberta. Long known for monster whitetails, Alberta also is home to big mule deer, pronghorn antelope, elk, black bear, cougar, Canada moose, and bighorn sheep. In fact, 7 of the 10 largest bighorn sheep in Boone and Crockett record book are from Alberta. In addition to big game, Alberta offers some top notch bird hunting. Serious waterfowlers know about the large flocks of ducks and geese that call Alberta home or migrate through.

Manitoba Hunting Information

Manitoba is known as a top destination for avid waterfowl hunters. Huge flocks of ducks and geese can be found from the Arctic coast of Hudson Bay to the prairie potholes on the southern border of this Canadian province. There is no legal requirement for non-resident waterfowl hunters to use a guide, but many are available and a high percentage of non-Canadian hunters utilize them. In addition black bear, Canada moose and whitetails are hunted throughout the province.

Arizona Hunting Information

Arizona has lots of trophy big game but is probably best known for its trophy elk and mule deer. This partially due to the limited number of tags available.
