Reviewer Comments: Jeff and Deb run a first rate outfitting business in some of the best areas in the west for quantity and quality of Whitetails, Mule deer, Antelope and Merriams Turkeys (please go shoot some of those turkeys, I am tired of seeing all them). I am booked again for the third year in a row for Whitetails and Antelope and would like to try their excellent Mule deer leases but I am hooked on the number and size of the Whitetails we see and harvest each year. You can not go wrong booking with this outfit for any species they offer.

Reviewer Comments: AFTER (8) CONSECUTIVE YEARS AND (2) BOONE & CROCKETT DEER, ONE MULE DDER 191", ONE WHITETAIL 186" NOTHING HAS CHANGED. JEFF & DEB ALWAYS WORK HARD TO ASSURE A QUALITY HUNT. REMEMBER THE FOCUS IS THE HUNT. THE BEAR LODGE IS A NICE PLACE TO REST, BUT MOST OF YOUR TIME IS SPENT HUNTING. SEVEN J HAS SECURED THE BEST RANCHES IN NORTH / EAST WYOMING AND...THEY DONT OVERHUNT THEM. MANY COMPETING OUTFITTERS IN THE VACINITY RUN TREE STAND SHUTTLE SERVICES, ITS ALL ABOUT THE NUMBERS OF HUNTERS, NOT THE CASE WITH SEVEN J. THIS IS AN ACTIVE STYLE HUNT AND YOU CAN EXPECT TO SEE 5-25 BUCKS PER DAY WHITETAIL OR MULE DEER. I FEEL A TROPHY HUNTER CAN EXPECT 170" MULE DEER OR 140" WHITTAIL. MY SEVEN J TROPHYS INCLUDES; MULE DEER; 191", 186", 176", AND A NICE 5x5 (LOOKS GOOD, DOESNT SCORE WELL)WHITETAIL 186.5". I HAVE NOT 'TAGGED' ON EVERY TRIP. NEEDLESS TO SAY I HUNT WITH JEFF EVERY YEAR. CALL SEVEN J AND ASK THEM TO SEND YOU A FREE VIDEO. STUDY THE PERCENTAGES, TALK TO A FEW PREVIOUS HUNTERS AND YOU WILL BE BOOKING A TRIP TO NORTHEASTERN WYOMING.

Reviewer Comments: Hunted with Jeff and Deb Oct. 6-10, 2003. I shot a heavy 5 x 5 mule deer on the second day of the hunt after passing up a 28" 3 x 3 on the first day. I shot a 14 1/2" antelope and captured it on video the third day of the hunt. My guide Dan was excellent and really knew the country and took his time to find trophy quality bucks. Jeff and Deb are great people and I look forward to hunting with them again.

Reviewer Comments: Saw lots of deer and many great bucks. Saw about 400 or so deer in 5 days. Shot and missed a 140 class, 4 x 4. Saw 3, 140 class bucks and 1, 160 class 6 x 5 buck. Ended up shooting beautiful 125 class 5 x 5. Saw about 14 bucks in that class. Most bucks have perfect, beautiful, symmetrical racks here. Never a dull moment hunting this area of Wyoming. If you are looking for 160 class deer, go elsewhere. If you would be happy with 125-140 deer, go here because you stand a great chance to get shots. Have a flat shooting rifle and practice, practice, practice. Be in good enough shape to walk a little, it will help out a lot and could be the deciding factor in you getting a nice buck.

Reviewer Comments: Jeff & Deb Smith run one of the best Trophy hunts that I have ever went to. As a licensed taxidermist, I have sent many hunters to Seven J Outfitters and every one of them raved about the trophy class animals, antler mass, the number of animal seen, the service, and guide quality. If you are truly interested in going on a truly trophy hunt then call Jeff or Deb Smith at (307) 283-3443. You will be in for the hunt of a life time.

Reviewer Comments: Jeff and Deb run an absolutely first rate operation. They will do everything in their power to ensure a great hunt. They are very straight shooters, you can trust what they tell you. This is the only outfitter I have ever dealt with, or even heard of, where no one has ever had anything but completely positive things to say. Success rates on good bucks are also very high. Everyone in camp the week I was there got a nice buck, even though the weather conditions were lousy.

Illinois Hunting Information
Illinois is widely known as a top trophy whitetail destination. Illinois also has some great waterfowl hunting, especially in southern portions of the state.
Utah Hunting Information
Utah has recently been outstanding for trophy elk, but the best tags take many years to draw. Utah does have conservation tags available for purchase that allow hunters to bypass the drawing. Given the high demand for these premium tags prices can be high. In the past Utah has been a top trophy mule deer state but recently only a handful of units consistently produce B&C caliber deer.
British Columbia Hunting Information
British Columbia is an excellent hunting destination that offers a wide variety of game species. Vast wilderness areas and pristine coastlines provide world class adventure hunting for those seeking that trip of a lifetime. BC is arguably best known for big coastal black bears, Canada moose, grizzly bear, mountain lion, Dall sheep and Stone sheep. Hunters can book a hunt with an outfitter and avoid the license drawing process common in most U.S. states.
