I just returned from my second visit, and will try to book with them again. Ray and ALL his crew will work to accomodate each hunter. This visit: 5 hunters, 4 Moose, all top quality animals. Each hunter saw game. If you want an outfitter who will be honest, fair, and keep his promises, look no further. Use Ray Saunders group with confidence.

Reviewer Comments: The guides, Terry and Gary are truly experts and genuinely nice people. The food was good and all equipment worked properly. Could not expect anything more out of an outfitter. The owner stays with you in camp and does a great job to make sure you get what you need.

Reviewer Comments: From top to bottom, this outfitter is a first class operation. The guides worked extremely hard to ensure we had an enjoyable hunt and they where very knowedgeable. The food was excellent (I gained 3 pounds during the trip) and the facilities where comfortable. All the equipment (trucks and atvs) where in good working condition. The tree stands where in good condition also. I plan on hunting with this outfitter again and highly recomend them.

Reviewer Comments: This is a very well equipped outfitter, with an extremely comfortable lodge that has all the amenities, including satellite TV, if you want it. Nothing is left out; you can count on being treated well. The food is very good, the guides are friendly, knowledgeable and dedicated to making your hunt an experience of a lifetime. The lodge is deep in a wilderness setting and game, from caribou to bear to moose, abound throughout the region. Newfoundland and its people are both impressive and richly rewarding. This is not an opportunity to pass up.

Reviewer Comments: Ray runs a first rate outfit. Everything about it is first rate. This was the most restful hunt I've ever been on. Meta, the camp cook, had a brilliant menu and there was never a shortage of food or snacking material. Guides Terry and Gary were excellent and provided us with a wealth of knowledge on both the game and the country in general. The camp had a sat-phone for convenience and emergencies. It is far enough in the woods that you seldom see another human. What a great find. I hope to go back for woodland Caribou in the near future.

Reviewer Comments: Once again Wilderness Outfitters has provided an excellent hunt. Although I did not take a bear, I had two opportunities at Pope and Young class bears. This was my third trip with Wilderness Outfitters and I plan on going back to try for black bear and caribou with a bow.

Reviewer Comments: Our family group of 5 hunted moose with ray the last week his camp was open for the 2002 season(last week of October). Even at that late date the 5 of us saw 21 moose and bagged 4. Ray and his crew were very familiar with their hunting area and knew where to look for game. They put out whatever effort was needed to try to get game for everyone. They have a very good area for moose and worked hard, hunting right up to the very last minute before leaving camp if necessary to help everyone fill their tags. Ray and his crew are a super group, all friendly, experienced, and extremely helpful. The accommodations are great, the food is excellent(and plentiful), and the hunting great. Will I be back? YES. The next time I plan a moose hunt, that's where I will go. What else can I say, they get an "A" Rating. I had been to Ontario 3 times previous to this hunt and hadn't even seen a moose. This trip was successful and a real joy.

Ray has a long term staff that really know the area and the habits of the game. They work hard for you. This felt like family from the start. Manitoba Hunting Information
Manitoba is known as a top destination for avid waterfowl hunters. Huge flocks of ducks and geese can be found from the Arctic coast of Hudson Bay to the prairie potholes on the southern border of this Canadian province. There is no legal requirement for non-resident waterfowl hunters to use a guide, but many are available and a high percentage of non-Canadian hunters utilize them. In addition black bear, Canada moose and whitetails are hunted throughout the province.
Wyoming Hunting Information
Wyoming is a great state for hunters! It offers a wide variety of good big game, turkey, small game, upland and predator hunting.
Utah Hunting Information
Utah has recently been outstanding for trophy elk, but the best tags take many years to draw. Utah does have conservation tags available for purchase that allow hunters to bypass the drawing. Given the high demand for these premium tags prices can be high. In the past Utah has been a top trophy mule deer state but recently only a handful of units consistently produce B&C caliber deer.
