The game is available and the guides will work hard for you. This is one of the best hunts I have ever been on. Reviewer Comments: Wilderness Outfitters is probably the best hunt for the money. There are no hidden costs, no out landish promises, and no lies. The guides work hard at putting the hunter on the species hunted. It is left up to the individual to shoot or not to shoot. Ray Saunders runs a very professional and hunter friendly operation. The food is outstanding, accomodations are excellent, and the hospitality is second to none. I would highly recommend this outfitter to anyone who wishes to enjoy a quality hunt and the company of good people.

I MET CLOSE TO 15 OTHER HUNTERS FROM CALIFORNIA TO NEW JERSEY AND I COMPARED NOTES WITH THEM, SOME WERE HAPPY WHERE THEY HUNTED, SOME WERE VERY UPSET ABOUT THEIR HUNT. I STRONGLY URGE YOU TO CHECK THESE GUY'S OUT. YOU WILL HAVE A HUNT YOU WILL NEVER FORGET. I CAN HONESTLY SAY I WALKED AWAY WITH ALOT OF MEMORIES AND ALOT OF GREAT NEW FRIENDS.

Reviewer Comments: This was my second trip to Newfoundland and by far the best. My son and I went in October to hunt moose and we both got our moose. The guides were great people to hunt with and Ray, the owner, is very concerned that everything runs smoothly. To let you know that kind of outfit that this is, I'm returning agian this fall 2001 to hunt moose again. If you want to hunt moose with the best outfit in Newfoundland book a hunt with Ray Saunders it will be the best that you have ever had.

Reviewer Comments: Ray Saunders spares nothing to make it a quality hunt. The guides work hard and long hours. The cook is outstanding---should loose ten pounds before going, like for a cruise. The four wheelers used for transportation are mostly new. Its fun trying to understand what the Newfies are saying, they claim its the English language. They are open and very friendly people. Overall it was a fun experience and good hunt so I returned this last year with friends from my home town and they all enjoyed it!

I found all personnel at the lodge ready to go the extra distance for me and my wife in pursuing a good, pleasant hunt and stay at Wilderness Outfitters. My guide put out 100% to produce a fair-chase hunt that was next-to-none in quality. My thanks to my guide Ron and outfitter Ray Saunders for a great, memorable hunt.
