Reviewer Comments: A great experience from the moment we landed. We were met at the airport, into the float plane in less than an hour. Greeted at camp, and hunting within an hour of landing. Weathered in camp for 2 days, but outfitter can't control the weather. Everyone (8) got 2 nice bulls, great fishing, fantastic food. Last day had a small herd 50 - 100 move through within 200 yards of camp. Saw plenty of wild life, Muskox, artic fox, wolves , plenty of birds. Great job, well done.

Reviewer Comments: My groups over-all experience on this hunt was 1st class all the way! Super organized camp with no shortage of caribou. We were able to stalk within bow range of bulls every day. Accommodations and equipment were great and the guides were all experienced in the area. We all took 2 bulls and agreed that it was definately one of the best experiences we ever had. If you're looking for a great trip up North, definately give these guys a call!

Reviewer Comments: This was my first guided hunt. I'm glad I picked High North. I did a lot of searching for outfitters and settled on High North after corresponding with Kevin Mattice. He was very honest and up front with me. He did not make any empty promises. I also liked the idea of only 8 hunters in camp per week. This definitely allows the guide time to listen to you and try to find the type of animal you are looking for. One hunter in camp has been hunting with numerous outfitters and his comment was that the guides, food, accommodations, hunting and fishing were "top of the line". I have to agree. My friend from Alabama and I hunted the first week in September. We arrived in camp on Sunday and each of us had 2 good bulls by Tuesday afternoon. That's not always a given though, as caribou are migratory. After that we spent time fishing, which was also good. If I ever go to Canada for caribou again, it will be with High North Outfitting.

Reviewer Comments: If you want a personalized hunt with a camp that only accomodates 6-8 people/week, this is the place. The guides knew their stuff, worked hard and were lots of fun. The owner's brother Dave was the camp cook and he & one of the guides wife's whipped up some great meals. Not alot of animals, but more than enough. They were feeding & walking so their was lots of time to spot & stalk. 6 hunters took 11 bulls, inc. 4 bow kills. The only hunter that didn't double up killed one with recurve and decided to fish the last 2 days. If I go to Quebec again for caribou it will definitely be with High North.

Reviewer Comments: My partner and I were 4 days late getting into camp due to World Trade Center Terrorist Attack. However Kevin kept the camp staff there waiting for us even though we were the last two hunters of the season and it was touch and go for us to even get a flight out of Denver into Canada. I highly recommend this outfitter. He is very honest and accomodating as anybody can be. I have another friend who hunted with him a couple years ago and says the same thing. I too was very fortunate to have taken the largest bull of the past 2 years(56 inch inside spread). No outfitter will work harder for you than this crew !!

Reviewer Comments: This was my 5th hunt at this camp and it just does not get any better than this. The year i saw the migration was not as good as this. All the bulls were large and nice racks. Most were the Leaf River bulls which are bigger and have large white manes. All you have to do is pay attention to your guide and take that dream bull. The camp now has all cabins and have an oil stove. FOOD when you put on five pounds on a hunt you know the food is excellent. My wife and i very highly recomend hunting with High North Outfitting. Reviewer Comments: Anyone who is willing to put in the effort will find High North Outfitting more than willing to give that person a good quality hunt. The camp personnel and quides are very friendly and will do their best to see that "the hunter and guests" get an experience that will be remembered for many years to come.. the equipment and camp accomodations are top-rate without the "frills".

Reviewer Comments: From the very second you step off the float plane onto the tundra we knew we were in for a great week. The guide gets you settled and off you go for what you came for.We saw excellent bulls within two hours off the plan and the week just kept getting better. World class fishing and guides that made you feel like long lost friends. Everybody worked hard to make every body feel comfortable. For those that wanted to hunt hard then the guides would walk and climb all day to get you that trophy. More than just a number , a very personal hunt with no surprises. Kevin has the experience in the unique world of northern Quebec a encourages pride and dedication in his guides. A trip of a life time!
