Conklin's Lodge Patten Me
I recently had my first and last hunt with Conklin's Lodge. I talked with the outfitter for several months before booking, and apon arrival found most claims were lies. From day one the outfitter bashed, belittled and cused out most of the clients in camp, stating many times that if we didn't like the way he ran his operation, we could leave. Outfitter was extrememly rude, repeatedly calling clients dumb for not bringing seat cushions, using scent eliminator, and bringing backpacks. Guides failed to find 2 bears that had gone less than 50 yards on repeated occassions. Hunter was bashed for not being able to shoot and told that he had missed even though he had hit both bears. Of 14 hunters, only 5 saw bear, with most baits were not being hit. Outfitter refused to move hunters to new bait sites until the last day. New bait sites were also inactive. Outfitter blamed the hunters for not sitting still and peeing out of treestands as to the reason we weren't seeing bears. Meals were less than desireable with the same meal given every evening, cold ham and cheese sandwiches. Don't waste your money! Do alittle more research than I did and find a better outfitter.

Yukon Territory Hunting Information
The Yukon Territory is a legendary hunting destination. Hunters from all over the world travel to the Yukon for wilderness adventure hunting at its finest. This rugged, remote and beautiful province is nearly untouched by man. It is similar in size to the state of California but with a population of only about 30,000 residents. The Yukon is a vast, pristine wilderness that holds a tremendous variety of trophy game species. You should be in excellent physical condition to maximize your success and to enjoy the Yukon experience.
Alberta Hunting Information
Alberta is a large, diverse province with rolling prairies, farmland, river bottoms, Boreal forests, and large expanses of the northern Rocky Mountains. Many species of big game, waterfowl, upland game and predators inhabit Alberta. Long known for monster whitetails, Alberta also is home to big mule deer, pronghorn antelope, elk, black bear, cougar, Canada moose, and bighorn sheep. In fact, 7 of the 10 largest bighorn sheep in Boone and Crockett record book are from Alberta. In addition to big game, Alberta offers some top notch bird hunting. Serious waterfowlers know about the large flocks of ducks and geese that call Alberta home or migrate through.
Quebec Hunting Information
Quebec is probably best know as an excellent caribou hunting destination. Hunters from across the globe travel to Quebec to hunt their big Quebec-Labrador caribou migration. In addition to caribou hunting, Quebec offers black bears, Canada moose and whitetails.
