Reviewer Comments: We have hunted with Jack Wardlaw and his sons many times. They run a great outfit. We always get to see lots of bucks and have continually been successful in our hunts with them. We hunted from stands located primarily on the ground. Thansportation is provided by 4-wheel vehicles to the hunt sites. Our site was changed each day so as not to overhunt a particular area. The Wardlaw's are a terrific family and fun to be with. A great hunt.

Reviewer Comments: The Rafter W Ranches is a great place to fill your tag on a buck of a lifetime! Their mangement couldnt be any better on their bucks on their ranch! Jack Wardlaw and his operation is the best in TX! I have been their on two different hunts both in Novemeber. I have killed awesome bucks including 8pt, 11pt, and my last an awesome 8pt scoring around 140-145 class with 15in G2'S! This is a hunt of a lifetime and I advise you to give Jack a call and you wont be dissappointed! You better not wait to long on your decision, CHOOSE Rafter W Ranches. BOTH HUNTS I HAVE SEEN AROUND 50 BUCKS AND ABOUT 20 DOES! PERFECT REASON WHY YOU SHOULD CHOOSE RAFTER W RANCHES! THERE QUOTE IS TEXAS HUNTING AT THE BEST AND THAT EXPLAINS EVERYTHING ABOUT RAFTER W RANCHES!

Utah Hunting Information

Utah has recently been outstanding for trophy elk, but the best tags take many years to draw. Utah does have conservation tags available for purchase that allow hunters to bypass the drawing. Given the high demand for these premium tags prices can be high. In the past Utah has been a top trophy mule deer state but recently only a handful of units consistently produce B&C caliber deer.

New Mexico Hunting Information

New Mexico is one of the top destinations for trophy Elk and Antelope hunting. Draw odds can be tough depending on the unit but landowner tags are also available for those who don't draw. Mule Deer are plentiful but generally of average size. Only a couple of units and reservations consistently produce big muleys.
