Reviewer Comments: MY FRIEND AND I JOHN, BOOKED EARLY SO WE HAD ENOUGH TIME TO CHOOSE THE DATES.WE PICKED PROPERTY IN SW GA.BUT DUE TO THE STORMS WE WERE CHANGED TO WRIGHTSVILLE GA,WE WERE NOT EVEN TOLD THIS AND WOULD NOT HAVE KNOWN UNLESS I MADE A CALL.WE SAT IN SHOOTING HOUSES AND TREE STANDS FOR THREE DAYS,$400 PER,I SAW NO DEER OR TRACKS AND MY FRIEND SAW THE SAME 3 DEER FOR 3 DAYS.THEY WERE IN BAD SHAPE.HOGS WERE ALSO SUPPOSED TO BE ABUNDANT,WE SAW NONE.WE WERE SUPPOSED TO HAVE A CAMP COOK,BUT THEY FORGOT TO TELL HER TO BE THERE.A THIRD PERSON FROM NORTH CAROLINA CAME IN ON THE SECOND DAY,HE ALSO WAS VERY MAD..WE KNEW DEER HUNTING IS A CRAP SHOOT,BUT PLEASE,I EXPECT TO AT LEAST SEE A DOE IN THREE DAYS.ESPECIALLY HUNTING OVER FOOD PLOTS,TECOMATE IS A BIG COMPANY. NO EXCUSES WERE GIVEN AND WE WERE HUSTLED OUT OF CAMP SO INCOMING BIRD HUNTERS COULD SETTLE IN. VERY SAD TO WAIT AN ENTIRE YEAR TO HUNT SOMEPLACE SPECIAL AND BE LET DOWN.I WROTE A LETTER TO THEM AND RECEIVED NO RESPONSE.

Reviewer Comments: I booked a hunt in Illinois through Blaine. He painted a very rosey picture of the hunt and the potential for a very big buck! Out of 3 days of never leaving the stand I saw one modest 6 pointer and several doe. The size of the property was no where close to what was advertised. Using Blaine was a complete waste of money!!!

Reviewer Comments: Blaine and his friend P/T guide were very nice and knowledgable on a personal level, not on a professional level. It was like hunting with a buddy that is a good turkey hunter. I feel like $750 for a weekend turkey hunt, that we saw not one turkey, is a rip off. This could be a good hunt, however, Blaine is more concerned about selling the plotmaster and video of famous outdoors folks, than regular guest.

Reviewer Comments: I can't begin to list all of the issues wrong with this hunt: "outfitter" turned out to be divorcee of previous outfitter who said "you're on your own" as soon as we complete license forms; guides were incompetents who filled in when the original hunting lease was pulled - one even wanted to stand right by target when we sighted in; guides also suggested downwind hunting locations. Burley doesn't stand behind his hunts. He's just a hunt broker whose evidently not too worried about repeat business. Our complaints post-hunt fell on deaf ears.

Reviewer Comments: Hunted in 2000 with this outfitter on a TX WD hunt. Blaine promises 95-100% success on 17 inch and larger spreads with 8 points or better. 7 hunters in camp and one basket 8 was harvested. One hunter had hunted before and had similar results. People were nice, but all hunters felt mislead. Realistically it looks like 20-30% harvest of a decent buck. Rancher is nice and his wife is a good cook.

Reviewer Comments: This was a Texas Whitetail hunt where I was supposed to shoot a minimal 130-140 class buck. I was also told I could shoot another Buck for an extra fee. There were 7 hunters in camp and no one saw a good buck in 5 days of hunting. The outfitter brags about 97-100% Success on 130-140 class Bucks, however in our group of experienced hunters only small basket racked bucks were sighted. All hunters felt seriously mislead. Food was great and accomodations were fine other than only ONE bathroom/toilet for 8 people. For $2,000.00 plus airfare there are much better places. I would use extreme caution with this outfitter.
