Mexico deer hunt
125 6/8 Coues non-typical official net score. My buck is number 25 all time in B&C. And I was awarded a trophy from DSC for biggest Coues deer that season. I have hunted with Sonoran Outfitters for the last 6 years. I have taken two B&C Coues deer and a 164 B&C Desert Ram. But still have not pulled the trigger on a big mule deer. I have seen other hunters in camp take some great bucks. The guides are great, food is great. What a fun place.

Mule Deer Hunt
201 B&C 4x4 only 24" wide in January of 2013 is my biggest mule deer ever. I killed the buck the first year I hunted with S.O. I hunted again in January of 2014, not taking a buck. I have booked again with S.O. for January 2015. Great guides, great food and great quality deer if your lucky and willing to hunt hard. I like to stay for more than the 6 day hunt. Something between 10 and 14 days.

Mule Deer Hunt
187 B&C Mule Deer in January 2014. My biggest buck out of 4 trips I took with Sonoran Outfitters. I have taken 3 other bucks with Todd over the years. And have missed some giants!

2 great mule deer and 2 giant coues deer in 4 years. I have hunted with Sonoran Outfitters for the last 4 years. I have taken 2 mule deer over 185 and 2 coues. My second coues makes B&C at 116. I have rebooked with Todd for the 2015 season.

Mule Deer Hunt
191 B&C Mule Deer. I hunted with Sonoran Outfitters in January of 2014. Actually, I was booked to hunt in 2013. But Todd called and asked if we would reschedule. The rut had ended, and he wanted us to have a great hunt. We came back the next year and on the first day, I killed a 150 buck. We all thought he was bigger. I sat in camp doing nothing for 3 days. To be honest, I didn't think that Sonora really had big deer. I was wrong. On day 6, I killed this pig!!!!!

In November, 2013 I did a desert sheep hunt with Todd Rice of Sonoran Outfitters. As of May 5, 2014 I have not received my sheep, like everyone else that sheep hunted with him last year. The only thing I received is excuses blaming everyone else. I would not recommend hunting with this outfitter as I am not the only one that has not received my sheep. A number of other hunters have not received sheep or mule deer. To find out more about this outfitter look at some of the complaints that The Hunting Report and other outfitter reviews have had on this outfitter.
Outfitter Response: Paul may want to tell some more about the story. First he hunted sheep the year before and didn't take a ram. I GAVE HIM A FREE HUNT THE NEXT YEAR. On the second hunt he killed a great ram. Then he decided to make a deal with the rancher for a second ram. Problem was the ranch only gets one tag per year.!!

Never hunt with this outfitter
Never hunt with this outfitter. Went on and payed for Desert Sheep hunt and never got my sheep back. Todd Rice finally admitted he didn't have a tag for my sheep. Todd said he was going to get one but never did. He quit returning calls and I now have to sue him for over $30,000. THIS GUY IS BAD NEWS.
Outfitter Response: I made a deal with another outfitter in Mexico to take Carl on his hunt. I paid Hector Pavlovich of Trophy Only Adventures $ 35,000. As it turned out, Hector never had a tag for Carl's ram. I had trusted Hector is the past. I'm truly sorry for what happened.

mule deer hunt
In my 31 years of guided hunts I have never been lied to and decieved like this. Todd Rice is invisable to the hunters and runs the camp by texting. He lied about everyting in the hunt with the excetption of it was in Mexico. A very few of the hunters in camp that week (14) got preferential treatment. We were lied to daily and I hunted 4ranches in 6 days. Some days there were 3 high racks lined up at dawn to hunt the ranch. He doesn't do any preparation, doesn't even know if there are deer on the ranches. Said one of the ranches he put us on was good 4 years ago. He will lie to you on a daily basis by texting his guides and sending you on a wild goose hunt. One camp had 8 hunters staying and the toliet plugged up and they ran out of food and water. If you want to go on a hunt high priced ran on a shoe string and knee jerk reaction to everything. Sonnoran Outfitters will keep you in absolutedisbelief of a terrible experience. I did shoot a deer there and my friend didn't have a chance. I got some benifit as when I did kill I was on a trophy fee for the next deer. I was on a ranch one day and actually saw quite a few deer. Looking forward to hunting the next day only to be told the rancher had company and didn't want anyone on the ranch that day. Todd took one of his hunters and his lying self on the ranch as it actually had deer on it. Ther we many angry hunter in camp and I only talked to one that seemed content and he was shooting every deer he liked. He killed one small buck and wounded another. 5 grand a piece and he was staying 10 days said he would be happy to shoot a deer a day. Great trophy mananement. At the airport when i was checkng out, one of his guides cut the ranch tag that i shot my deer on and put another ranch tag on it where i had never hunted. Not quite sure why. Fitting ending to and absolute worst hunting experience of my life.
Outfitter Response: Did he tell you, he kiled a 187 29" mule deer the first hour of his hunt !!! go to my website www.sonoranoutfitters.com and you can see his picture.

Kansas Hunting Information
Kansas is one of the top producing monster whitetail buck states in the country. It also has some excellent turkey hunting and a few big mule deer in the western part of the state. Kansas has an excellent reputation as a top notch destination for upland birds. It has excellent populations of pheasant and quail due to the vast expanse of suitable prairie and grassland type habitat.
Wyoming Hunting Information
Wyoming is a great state for hunters! It offers a wide variety of good big game, turkey, small game, upland and predator hunting.
Ohio Hunting Information
Ohio is best known for its trophy whitetail deer. In fact, the world record non-typical whitetail was harvested in Greene county by Mike Beatty in November 2001,
