Deer hunt

Accomidations were good, staff was friendly, guides were great, quality and quantity of deer was over hyped, never even met outfitter. No photos to upload... I hunted the entire day without coming in at lunch time just so I knew if I didnt get one it wouldnt be for lack of trying..

Outfitter Response: did he say, he missed the biggest mule deer he had ever seen !! And that the next year he booked a high fence hunt. Go to my website and see we take giant deer every year. www.sonoranoutfitters.com

Mexico Hunt 2010

I hunted with Todd Rice of Sonoran Outfitters in January 2010. I took two desert mule deer and a desert sheep.

Outfitter Response: One of the best hunters I have ever hunted with. Killed a great ram the first morning. If you go to website and watch video. His ram is one getting shot front on !! www.sonoranoutfitters.com

Todd Rice of Sonoran Outfitters helped me take the biggest mule deer of my life. A 196 B&C 7x8 old sonoran buck.

Outfitter Response: part owner of Texan NFL team. Killed a 194 buck !!

Mexico Desert Sheep

Todd Rice of Sonoran Outfitters took me to Sonoran, Mexico to finish my Grand Slam last Febuary 2010. I took a beautiful ram on the 4th day. I have booked a Mule Deer hunt with hime for January 2011 !!

Outfitter Response: Great Man !! Made one heck of a shot. Since has become a great friend

Species Hunted: mule deer

Game Quality: poor

Accommodation Quality: good

Camp Condition: good

Food Quality: good

Guide Experience: good

Other Personal Experience: good

Overall Impression: fair

Recommend: no

Reviewer Comments: The outfitter (Todd Rice) lied to me and the others on the hunt about quality of mule deer you should expect to see or kill. We were told a 180 to 190 class deer is almost a sure thing but no one saw anything even close to this.I hope I can save someone else from getting scammed.
