Highly Recommend this outfitter
Highly Recommend this outfitter. I hunted this year with Rod and killed a 160 stud after only sitting 2 hrs in the stand. Rod knows what he is doing when it comes to putting you on big bucks. Stand was set up excellent. Buck had no idea I was even there. I have hunted all over the U.S.A and Rod has some of the best property I have ever hunted. His in house taxidermist had my deer cleaned and caped with the meat packed on ice ready for my trip home. Service was excellent from start to finish on my hunt.

Great Hunt
Had Great Hunt hunting with Rod Sullins at Southeast Kansas Outfitters. The weather was very warm and winds gusting most of the days I hunted, yet Rod was still able to put me on a good buck. I seen several bucks in the 120-150 range during my 5 days hunting. Rod has some excellent property for growing big deer. Stands are set up for shots at 20-25yds with good shooting lanes. I would recamend Southeast Kansas Outfitters to anyone wanting to pursue big Kansas brutes. I will be back next year and have already placed my deposit to save my spot. Happy hunting to all.

Outfitter demands "tips"
After I declined demands by outfitter for tips due to service issues, he vandalized my truck by keying the tailgate. I saw him doing this in my rear view mirror after I got in my truck to leave. Thoroughly shocked, I came out of my truck and asked him why he did this. He denied he did it, cursed at me and threatened me with violence. I left not wanting any trouble. Normally, "tips" are the customer's choice. Last year I tipped the SEK guide who showed me the stand although I drove myself and friend to/from each hunt at the same stands all week. This time I chose not to. Very peculiar behavior as my friend and I were repeat customers and I was not aggressive or belligerent, just not compliant. Never experienced anything like this with 20+ outfitters I have hunted or fished with over many years in lower 50 states. Alaska, and Canada. Have always tipped guides except this instance. I have even had a guide refuse to accept tips I offered due to what he termed to be a " poor hunt". Hunting aside, can't recommend in good conscience. Sorry this occurred -spoiled my vacation. I really enjoy hunting normally.

Best hunt ever with Southeast Kansas Outfitters
Best Outfitter i have ever hunted with, Rod Sullins knows how to kill Trophy Whitetail bucks, All you have to do is trust in his judgement and listen to his advise and he will put you on a true Trophy buck. I hunted hard for 4 days and have never seen so many Bucks in the 130-140 range, but Rod kept telling me to keep passing on them that he knew there was a good 10pt 165+ class buck there, and on the 4th day just like he said and the exact spot where he said it would come from. I shot him at 23yds. Buck was a 10pt and scroed 168. Rod knows his property and his deer that are on them. I have hunted with outfitters all over the world and no one knows how to kill "BIG" Bucks like Rod. Doesn't have a fancy club house but he does have some of the best whitetail hunting in the mid-west

Poor choice for an outfitter. Was placed in a stand first day with wind directly at back. Saw other hunters booked for an afternoon hunt crossing my field of view several hundred yards away. The outfitters doesn't believe in trail cameras and so on. SEK is kind of a ' poor boy ' operation. I would definitely avoid this outfitter.

My father and I recently returned from a hunt with Rod Sullins and SEKO. I would like to start out by saying that the deer hunting was second to none. Rod told me before I booked the hunt that if we hunted hard all day then we would see deer. That was a understatement! Him and his guides had our blinds in my opinion perfect spots. We both saw alot of mature bucks. My dad tagged out on the first night. I on the fourth day after passing many good deer. Everything he told me before our trip was exactly what we received when we arrived. Bottom line, be a serious hunter and give it what it takes to harvest a mature buck and SEKO Will do the rest. If you would like to ask me any questions about our hunt with Rod please feel free to contact me. We are booking for the same time next year! Thanks again Rod.

I recently posted my review about our hunt with S.E.K.O. and Rod Sullins about about a week ago, Although i wasnt happy with our hunt I did for some reason still like Rod, however, last night i recieved a text message from him, This was his message quote, "Hey Ass**** u have to know how to hunt in order to c a shooter buck. Funny the other guy seen the biggest buck of his life but u forgot to mention that n review, u had more wads of chew on ground than corn around the stands u hunted, U are are F***** joke of a hunter. u will never kill a good buck, u have to stay in your stand to see deer not sitting in the bar getting drunk and u said i was sleeping that all you did was sleep. Grow up a******." Let me start off by saying We hunted all 6 days. We would sit tell about 11am, get out have lunch, and return about 2 and sit tell dark, Rod did want us to hunt all day, we sat all day 1 time, its a hard thing to do. We would eat at night and have a beer, we were never drunk. One guy did see a buck, it was at dark 70 yards through the woods, Not posotive how big it was. I have killed my fair share of deer 3 bucks 150s the last 3 years on public land. It might have been a bad week, the next week may have been totally different. This was my personal experience. I cant believe a Outfitter would get this offensive and immature, With that said I would say you should strongly consider what kind of Outfitter/Guide you want to invest your money with. I have no reason to lie. Good luck hunting.

Myself and 5 others bowhunted with Rod and S.E.K.O for 6 days in the middle of November 2011. I know its bowhunting and your not going to always get a chance or see the deer your looking for. If you cant trust your guide then its not going to be a very good hunt. Here are the reasons i would not recommend Southeast Kansas Outfitters. Rod says that nobody has hunted your stands prior to you being there, that was a lie, throughout the week they let things slip that obviously tells you that there were hunters there the week before, and yes the group that was there the prior week left halfway through the hunt because they were so dissapointed. Rod sets you up on cornpiles 1/4 mile apart, 6 baits 1/4 mile apart everyone is seeing the same deer! The baits are not big so they go in by wheeler at night to fill, not something I like when hunting big deer, baits should be full enough to last the whole week. When asked if there is other stands to hunt, there is but these are the best ones, he said maybe we should all rotate stands? Rotate stands, i dont want to see the same deer my friends have been passing. When we told rod we wanted to hunt different stands and let ours sit a few days and cool off, he said ok, but then he put 2 new hunters in the stands the next day, 1 of them wounded a deer and tracked it for 2 days so that stand was shot. Not a real good move on a guides part. One hunter wanted to get out of stand the wind was wrong, and Rod told him he couldnt pick him up he was tracking a deer, but he was sleeping, if your hunter wants out, you pick him up! As far as the 140" minimum average, we didnt have to worry about that, the 6 of us didnt see a deer over 130", I didnt see a deer that was over 100". the deer we were seeing didnt even have potential to get big in the next few years, I think the leases have been overhunted. For those reasons I will not go back.

No opportunities, but will still return.
Although I didn't have an opportunity at a Deer, although we didn't even see a shooter Buck, and although only 1 in 6 at camp took a Buck (130 class) I would still recommend Rod Sullins and Southeast Kansas Outfitters. It was just bad luck in the short rifle season and having a late rut meaning post rut for us, none of the bucks were out and I confirmed this with other outfitters in the area. No one had success. I'm going back again with Rod in 2011 if that says anything.

Utah Hunting Information
Utah has recently been outstanding for trophy elk, but the best tags take many years to draw. Utah does have conservation tags available for purchase that allow hunters to bypass the drawing. Given the high demand for these premium tags prices can be high. In the past Utah has been a top trophy mule deer state but recently only a handful of units consistently produce B&C caliber deer.
Manitoba Hunting Information
Manitoba is known as a top destination for avid waterfowl hunters. Huge flocks of ducks and geese can be found from the Arctic coast of Hudson Bay to the prairie potholes on the southern border of this Canadian province. There is no legal requirement for non-resident waterfowl hunters to use a guide, but many are available and a high percentage of non-Canadian hunters utilize them. In addition black bear, Canada moose and whitetails are hunted throughout the province.
Ontario Hunting Information
Ontario is often considered a sportsman's paradise. This large province contains huge sections of wilderness, filled with thousands of lakes that provide excellent habitat for Canada moose and black bear. Excellent fishing for walleye, northern pike, muskie, smallmouth bass and other species can often be combined with a hunt. From spike camps to 5-star lodges, there are lodges, guides and outfitters for every adventure and every taste.
