Reviewer Comments: I have hunted with Tracy once in Montana and twice in North Dakota. Shot nice bucks on every trip. The guides and cooks are top notch folks who work hard to get you a trophy and to make sure you have a memorable hunt. This year I am not hunting out west because of the economy. You can bet next time out will be with Hidden Valley Outfitters.

Reviewer Comments: All huntable elk that were seen were on a private ranch that could not be hunted. My guide tried very hard but was not familiar with the area prior to our hunt. This was supposed to be a hunt on ATV's and our guide had to use one of ours as he said there were none available to him. Food was in short supply(one box hamburger helper for four grown men)and we paid for gas for the ATV that the guide used. The location of our hunting camp was changed by cell phone when we were three hours away and we were the only two hunters and little planning was put into our hunt. The guide that we were supposed to have left shortly before we arrived for personal reasons and we were left with a very nice young man who tried. It was as if Tracy had to do something to take care of us in order to keep all the money we had given him. We learned that all that you read cannot be believed and if we hunt again, we will do much more aggressive research.

Reviewer Comments: Tracy is an on hands outfitter who has alot of the same leases for years. He is in his early 40's in excellent shape and full of energy to help his hunters have a successful hunt. My guide, Donny, has been with Tracy for some 20 years and they know their properties and have a knack to locate the animals. Tracy's mom is the cook and she is an incredible cook/lady. Family operation and a nice ranch to stay at.

Reviewer Comments: I hunted in mid November 2007 with HVO for the SIXTH time in 9 years. Of the 15 guys in camp, 15 tagged out with nice muleys. We saw over 100 deer on a couple of days, and at least 2 or 3 shooters each day. Both my partner and I tagged out with nice bucks, and the food, as always, was unbelievable. We hunted with a new guide named Troy, and he made up for his limited experience on the two ranches we hunted with his enthusiasm and desire to go the extra mile to spot big bucks. We hunted hard, from first light to last light, which is just the way we like it. We even hit a monster 8 point whitetail our first morning while driving 60 MPH to our hunting area. Talk about excitement!!

Reviewer Comments: This was the worst, most overrated hunting trip, I have ever been on in my life. We were promised 10 to 15 shot opportunities a day inside of 200 yards at mule deer in the 24" to 30" range. As it was a so called trophy exclusive hunt, what a joke. We seen one deer after dark the guide wanted to shoot and another at the end of the week at almost 500 yards away. A great way to flush $5,000 down the toilet, I would be more than happy to give all the details to anyone who wants them on my email address it will certainly save you a ton of money.

Reviewer Comments: My hunt was an early season archery hunt. I was in awe of every aspect of the hunt. The scenery, knowledge of the guides, and most of all, the quality of the mulies. I connected with a Pope & Young 4x4 with brow tines on the 3rd morning of the hunt. This was the 5th buck I had stalked to within less than 40 yards. Talk about an exciting way to hunt. Terry & Chris worked hard to get me my trophy and took great care of me. And Terry can do some GOOD cooking.

Reviewer Comments: I was fortunate enough to harvest a 25" 5x6 muledeer the first morning of my rifle hunt near Wibaux. Tracy runs a quality outfit & everything about my hunt was well thought out. Tracy asked me to move my hunt to this location as i was booked in another. He thought i would have a better hunt & he was right! My muledeer is awesome & i can't wait to get it back from my taxidermist.

Species Hunted: Mule deer
Game Quality: fair
Accommodation Quality: very poor
Camp Condition: substandard
Food Quality: non-existant
Guide Experience: what guides ?
Other Personal Experience: no other personnel
Overall Impression: not worth while
Recommend: no!
Reviewer Comments: All prior arrangements were disregarded. Game and accomodations were exaggerated. Guiding was non-existant. A very poorly run outfitting experience. Does getting the "guide" out of bed 3 of 5 mornings say anything? Translated means, no breakfast as promised and the sun was up before getting to the hunting area.

Reviewer Comments: If you are thinking about going to Hidden Valley for a Combo Hunt my husband and I wouldn't recommend it. Tracey promised us a lot on the phone and once we showed up it was a completely different story. Also our guide informed us that we were being taken where the deer weren't the best because we didn't offer more money for the bigger bucks. My husband and I were under the impression that Tracey gave us that we were going to be hunting nice bucks. Also when Tracey showed up at the camp he didn't really talk to the hunters that were there unless you got a deer and he wanted a picture of them for his collection, his brother does all of the work for him. Please feel free to contact before you would book a hunt with them, we hate to see you loss a lot of money and not be happy with the outfitter we had to learn the hard way. Now, we are going to go on another hunt but we are asking the outfitter all of the questions and make sure that we have them in writing so this doesn't happen to us again and hopefully it won't.

Quebec Hunting Information
Quebec is probably best know as an excellent caribou hunting destination. Hunters from across the globe travel to Quebec to hunt their big Quebec-Labrador caribou migration. In addition to caribou hunting, Quebec offers black bears, Canada moose and whitetails.
New Mexico Hunting Information
New Mexico is one of the top destinations for trophy Elk and Antelope hunting. Draw odds can be tough depending on the unit but landowner tags are also available for those who don't draw. Mule Deer are plentiful but generally of average size. Only a couple of units and reservations consistently produce big muleys.
Ohio Hunting Information
Ohio is best known for its trophy whitetail deer. In fact, the world record non-typical whitetail was harvested in Greene county by Mike Beatty in November 2001,
